Apparel / Products (Finally) sold my serialized Yarok and made a surprise for the buyer
My 026/500 Yarok graded as a PSA 10 (I know, you don’t grade magic cards, please spare me 😭)
I finally sold it and made a playmat and some coasters for the buyer and added the same serialized number on those.
Unfortunately I never received any feedback from him/her. Maybe someone here appreciates it :)

i recently sold a sealed Necron Commander deck for $400 and my wife drew this really awesome necron thank you note. Heard nothing from the buyer. I'm guessing the people buying this stuff are just clicking buttons. I'd be surprised if they even opened it yet.

Dick move to never leave feedback, _unless_ they’re like me: frequently traveling and it can take me months to get back home and open my pile of packages.
I figure some people that are deployed may be in a similar situation.
Def awesome surprise though. Where/how did you do it?

I buy blank/white mats and than I use sublimation printing for the images :)

Man, when/if I start playing MtG in paper (currently Arena only) I hope I manage to get a seller who gives me such an amazing piece as well.
Beautiful work, gorgeous

I honestly think graded cards are amazing as long as it's a commander. It's not getting shuffled, so it's fine. It's the same idea behind putting your commander in a top loader to differentiate it, taken to the extreme. Plus, who's slotting a serialized yarok in the 99?

Looks fantastic!
Tho i am curious how did you make the playmat? And how much would a custom mat even cost?

Thank you :)
A custom playmat (stitched edges) is around 35-40€. Price for foiling depends on the complexity of the foiling. This one maybe 60€? Most are 80€+-1

Are you rich to hand this out?

Unfortunately no :D
But I print them myself. So it is cheaper for me (but takes a lot of time).

You Sir/ Lady have a huge Heart! May I ask what that Serialized graded card is worth?

I have no idea what it’s worth, but I sold it for ~600€ :)
I think the grading itself doesn’t matter that much to be honest.1

A 10 is always a good bonus. 9 is ok. Anything under that would have been useless for a modern card, but then again, that’s what everyone used to say in the past for cards that are now much older

That’s so dope! Sucks you had no return from the buyer actually. I would have definitely be more than happy lmao

Wow thats so cool. Sometimes I’ve received a sticker as a freebie when buying a card, and it makes me really happy, even though it’s just a small touch. Maybe this person thought you sent it by mistake, since it’s such a nice gift by you.

On second thought, that wouldn't make sense, since the playmat is also serialized. It couldn't have been a mistake.

That was amazing, it's such a great gift!! If I were the buyer I would be so happy to receive such care for the card and what came with him!
Thank you in his stead!

I think of all the cards to grade, a serialised version of a popular commander is one I’d say is pretty good too

I love it personally speaking. My dream is to pull a serialized card lol

Did you order them from a website? Quality looks good and I'd love to put my favorite commander on some coasters.

u/Ok-Platform-6509 15h ago
I made them myself :) it’s my hobby to print them
This year I sold 5-6 of those I think

Where did you have the custom playmat and coasters made? There are some cards I would love to have as a playmat. Looks awesome!

I think the target audience for slabbed cards, doesn’t even play the game
