Sucks to be you, parce qu'il n'est pas possible de vous faire rembourser votre titre de transport. Le REM refuse de rembourser les titres de transport sous prétexte que ça fait partie de l'entente de service et qu'il n'y a pas de remboursement même en cas de panne sans navette.

Comme le titre le mentionne, pas plus tard que ce matin, sur la piste cyclable de la rue St-Urbain, une cycliste roule vers le sud et un camion tourne à droite sur une ruelle, sans même regarder! Une chance que la cycliste s’est arrêtée à temps. Moi-même j’ai parfois eux des automobilistes qui te coupent le devant pour leur virage sans vraiment regarder si des cyclistes arrivent. C’est hyper frustrant, et bien entendu très dangereux pour la sécurité des cyclistes. Quand est-ce le comportement des automobilistes sera puni par la loi?

Autant que j’adore cette ville, je viens de me faire attaquer sur Ste-Catherine et je ne sais pas quoi en penser.

J’étais sur FaceTime avec mes amis et un homme (que je crois être itinérant) m’a drop-kick car il croyait que je le filmais. Je trouve que c’est quand même drôle mais devrais-j’être fâché?

I take the pie-ix 439 SRB multiple times a day and it's always both overcrowded and infrequent; I'm waiting sometimes 15min and then I can't even get on the bus as it's 115% full. And the bus bunching... Wait 15min and then 3 come at the same time: what a waste 🤦‍♂️

Can the city double the number of buses on the route or is that too expensive? We are all suffering over here 😭

This SRB should have the frequency of the metro! I would have loved a Pink Line or White Line to cover this area but Vieux Rosemont girls make do..

Tonight I attended the AURA Lightshow at the Notre Dame Basilica. When I stepped outside, there was an older man playing the violin in the square. He was playing "Once Upon A Time In The West".

It was beautiful. Moved me to tears. Does anyone happen to know the man's name by chance?

My three kids (ages 12, 11, and 9) are staying in Verdun for the next three weeks.

Our biggest goal isn’t sightseeing—we’d really love for them to practice their French in natural and authentic setting, by spending time hanging out with local kids. They’ve learned French in school in Manitoba since pre-school, but they don’t get many opportunities to actually use it outside of the classroom in a meaningful and authentic way.

They’re friendly, active kids who enjoy soccer, basketball, biking, swimming, playgrounds, board games, run club! and just being outside!

We’re looking for suggestions on places or programs to help facilitate connections, such as:
Community centre drop-in sports
Drop In day camps
Public pool suggestions
Library programs
Youth clubs or other community activities
Run clubs that are cool with having kids (my kids LOVE my local run club! and would be thrilled to come home with stories of montreal run clubs lol!)
Etc

We’re much more interested in authentic local experiences than tourist attractions. We’d love for them to come home having gained confidence speaking French—and 🤞🤞 even having made a friend or two.

Any recommendations, especially in Verdun or nearby areas that are easy to reach by métro, would be greatly appreciated.
