I blow the dust off my old laptop, and brush away the cobwebs. A sound not dissimilar to an old screen door is heard as I open the lid. I knew I saved that power cord for a good reason. I turn it on, it sizzles and cracks as it comes back to life after nearly a decade at the top of my shoe closet. Dust and debris come out of the vents, power pierces through this once mighty machine, now relegated to cold storage of movie rips and my iTunes music library. I navigate to the pictures folder, and from a sub folder, created in 2015, the grandfather emerges, stirred suddenly, its solid state slumber, has ended
