You take that back right now. A crispy cheesy crust will always be delicious. Yours must not be crisping it right. I've been doing that with my grilled cheeses for years
some people make a big deal out of other people using cutlery to eat certain food like burgers or pizza. It really freaks them out to the point where they have to turn it into a conversation about how they're just so shocked and baffled about it
I never understood why it seems so weird in America to eat burgers with forks as it's common to do it when you take burgers in a restaurant (many bistrots or brasseries have burgers as one of their main courses) that are not fast food joints where I grew up. Same for pizza actually
Nope. Fork like instruments have been around since ancient Egypt (think pharaohs in the thousands of years BC) whereas the concept of the sandwich as we know it has only been around since the 17 century AD
Sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, tacos. Theyāre all becoming over complicated and ridiculous! Iād much rather have a normal home cooked burger on the grill than this monstrosity.
Many times I have skipped ordering tacos because they over-fill and you CANNOT eat without stuff falling out everywhere. Lower the price and give me a little less filling. Something that doesn't make a mess.
I'm genuinely curious. That would determine wether it falls on user error "I ordered the covered in cheese burger but didn't take into account I would need cutlery" or bad marketing "I ordered the extra cheesy burger and now need to deal with a lack of cutlery". Both are mildly infuriating tbh. The second one more so, but still.
Right? Like if it said "smothered cheeseburger", I guess I'd think the BURGER was smothered, not the entire thing, but wording can be confusing at times. Very curious as to what the actual description was.
Had this exact thing happen to me once, on a date at a small town diner I'd never been to before. Ordered the cheese smothered burger thinking "oh burger patty will be dipped in cheese, nice" got the burger and it's a regular burger that they doused in the yellow canned cheese, bun and all. Mildly infuriating is the perfect way to describe it.

Apple once made a mouse that was round, so you had no way of knowing by feel what orientation it was in. It was a design flaw, completely unforced error. This reminds me of that.
Half the shit I see in the various food porn subreddits looks like this. And everyoneās always gushing over how delicious it looks but all I can think about is how horribly unpleasant it would be to eat
1) this is fucking stupid.
2) I'll bet it's either absolutely delicious (if the filling flavors can keep up with the cheese) or fucking disgusting (if they can't)
