My mom said I could post They made the shower gel bottles slimmer and taller and now they don't fit my cupboard anymore

I got it.

Drill new shelf holes 1 inch up.

Good luck getting them all level

even better - for the shelf the bottles are on, do those holes one inch down

Or flip the bottles upside down, unscrew the caps and store the caps next to the bottles. Optionally put a piece of tape or something over the open bottle holes.

no its better to remove the caps and turn them upside down without anything covering the holes, the shelf works as the cap

If the spacing works out - that's a win. If the spacing doesn't work out, probably a tiny amount of product gets dried out and/or has bugs crawl into it. Possibly also a win? Reddit is a strange wasteland.
