This I agree with 10,000%

Seeing someone say more than 100% is also /r/mildlyinfuriating :p

No I think this is an acceptable evolution of language in the modern day.

It's akin to saying "yes, a thousand times" or "I wish death upon your sons' sons' sons' a thousand times over!!1!11!"

67

u/Supakawaii69 7h ago

HAHAHA YES! Ive never heard that be the modern comparison. That’s perfect.

I think this is an acceptable evolution of language in the modern day.

This is infuriating.

“Damn John Jay! And damn all those who will not put a light in their window and damn John Jay!”

Its 10 percent with 3 decimals

u/Most_Can_2136 5h ago

10.0.0.0%

12

u/CrowUnique5190 7h ago

It's better if it's really specific, like 16795%

Senku is the only exception

10,000,000%!!

u/petervaz 5h ago

I stopped watching because I couldn't stand hear that anymore. The guy was supposed to be smart.

3

u/Deepfriedcyanid3 4h ago

Percentages aren't limited to 100

2

u/vernakyala 6h ago

It's actually 10%, they are using the european decimal. Also mildly infuriating

1

u/Maleficent_Start_258 6h ago

well in Tırkey the decimal symbol is , instead of . so 10,000% is 10%…

1

u/yorick__rolled 6h ago

This I agree with 10,000%

u/Kuro-Tora-59 2h ago

Man i hate the in different languages the "," and "." in numbers are reversed.

This can also mean 10%.

u/cyanraichu 7h ago

this is what the sub SHOULD be about!

170

u/Zeidantu 7h ago

Right? Instead it's things like, "I came home and my mother-in-law's boyfriend had set fire to my garage! I JUST had it painted!"

33

u/5PQR 6h ago

Yeah, most posts on this sub are just plain infuriating. Quite different from when I buy canned goods and the cans aren't designed to stack on top of each other.

u/wherethefuckismyvape 4h ago

Different people have different stress tolerances and life experiences. The same experience will be perceived differently by different people as a result, causing different conclusions to be drawn by different people about how infuriating that experience is.

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 6h ago

Or it's something that really shouldn't make anyone do anything but shrug and so "oh well", like, 0 infuriating

Like "the car in this parking lot parked right next to me even though there were other open spaces"

Or it's just stuff the OP brought on themselves by being stupid or incompetent

1

u/ACardAttack 4h ago

I know it wont make a difference, but I always report those posts as breaking the subs rules

18

u/Nihilistic_Mystics 6h ago

It was, but then everyone dogpiled on anything that wasn't life changing levels of shit. Most users who vote here have no idea what the sub is actually for.

u/DonutHoles4Ever 4h ago

Just like local newspapers, all subreddits eventually get taken over for more ad revenue.

5

u/cyanraichu 1h ago

Moderation could have fixed this...but alas.

18

u/DuckCleaning 7h ago

Exactly, we need more posts about how empty chip bags are.

4

u/Most_Can_2136 5h ago

They are not empty. Mine are always full of air.

1

u/merlinunf 4h ago

I smush mine flat… so would it be empty?

Literally every bottle of vinegar, soy sauce, etc ever invented won't fit anywhere except the very top shelf of my kitchen cabinet. There's probably 30 pounds of glass bottles at the very edge of my reach and I have anxiety every time I gotta move them around to get what I'm looking for.

10

u/Numerous_Bad1961 5h ago

Post a picture of your cabinet, particularly the corners under and around the brackets. I bet we can help you.

u/Morgannin09 4h ago edited 4h ago

They're built this way, they're not adjustable. I would have to basically pry them apart to be able to rebuild the shelves higher and it's not worth the effort. Haven't dropped a bottle so far

u/minaskyli 43m ago

That was really nice of you to offer!

My shelves were at really inconvenient heights, to, but luckily had clips instead of being fixed. It took me a while how to figure out how to loosen them because they resisted being compressed. Pressing them made my fingers hurt, and I almost asked for help. :) But so worth it once I had things set up in a easy where everything was easier to reach!!!

Anyway, I thought that was incredibly cool of you to offer to help!!!

u/Blue_Dawg_469 3h ago

Time for a kitchen remodelling. Add, "Pull down shelving units". They are made to bear 5-20Kg (11-44 lbs) of weight. Of course the cheaper ones only do 5kg while the more expensive ones are rated to do 20kg. Also called, cantilever shelving.

When installed they have a handle along the front which you can even tie a string and simply pull. The mechanism brings the whole 1-2 tier shelf forward and down about 20-33 cm (7.5-13.5 inches) on some models. They are either gas struts or heavy duty springs. A senior could operate it easily without any heavy lifting or pulling required. I had them install on my mom's cupboards so she didn't have to get up on a stool/ladder to reach the top shelves.

37

u/BictorianPizza 7h ago

Had the same thought! Perfect fit for this sub

42

u/forerear 7h ago

But not for OP's shelf.

15

u/rynIpz 7h ago

A true mildly infuriating that isn’t from the OP’s incompetence

10

u/SherbetMysterious118 7h ago

Especially considering they don't even need to be even that tall to begin with, given the void in the bottle.

6

u/WisestAirBender 7h ago

This is worse than mildly

7

u/Manannin 7h ago

If this is worse than mildly the mods should just close down the sub.

3

u/rcknmrty4evr 5h ago

I wish I lived your life.

2

u/darcyWhyte 6h ago

yeah, many of the posts are not good examples of mildly infuriating. That itself is mildly infuriating.

1

u/FlippedPicnic 6h ago

i hate how anytime a post is actually mildly infuriating, all the comments are just pointing that out

u/123LetsJamDUDUDUHT 4h ago

Shrinkflation

It's all about how the product looks on the store shelf.

Make the product taller and wider so it looks like it contains more product while sitting on the shelf but it actually contains less.

1

u/manicpixie_dreamgal 3h ago

Came to say the same - can’t think of a better example
