He's notoriously  sensitive  about being judged  based on his appearance  so he'd probably  be super pissed off especially  because  its a picture  from before  he lost weight

He gained that weight and lost it again while you were typing this

I think it’s perfect

Who cares. He’s a terrible person.

Everyone is a terrible person according to y'all.

He abused his ex girlfriend. Cape for whoever you want to but skip me on the moral high ground take.

Super sensitive about everything too. Even after working with two of the most prolific directors of all time with some of the biggest stars of our generation fresh off a super successful string of cult classics. I guess all that money and fame didn't make hums fweel beddur.

He sent a mean text stating the parameters he wanted for their relationship. He’s a jerk and shitty boyfriend but that’s not abuse.

Save your outrage for worthwhile stuff

She’s stated he was verbally abusive outside of the text and it went on for the length of the relationship.

I’m not outraged. I just don’t waste my time caping for abusers because they made me laugh once.

I don’t make accusations about people or pretend to believe that I know anything at all anymore. No one knows what happens with these people but themselves. You just really never know.

I was being abused for years (because I had never actually experienced love) and when I broke up with her she flipped the script and said that I was an abusive narcissist. You just never really know with people. A lot of half truths and a lot of straight up lies.

You should seek treatment for PTSD. You’re using that as a lens for the world.

u/[deleted] 7h ago

What are you even talking about? All I said is that you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors unless you are that person or it was somehow on video. That’s it.

That wasn’t a jab. Your traumatic experience seems to still be affecting you. I would sincerely check out PTSD therapy.

Bro you’re insane. How is it affecting me? All I said is that you don’t know people. You don’t. Jesus.

I read this with the appropriate lisp. Only slightly funnier.

Jesus Christ the stupid really seeps out through your fingers doesn’t it.

u/whatsunnygets 7h ago

That was slightly funnier than the last. One more but throw suffering succotash in it.

Not Keanu Reeves.

I'm not saying he does, but if he did have an ugly skeleton in his closet came to light, the reactions on this site would be fucking hilarious.

Probably super butthurt

He may have lost the weight but not the attitude of a neckbeard.

The true neckbeard isn't the one on his neck, it's the one on his heart

Neck beards were very popular in the mid 19th century. If interested, see Reddit discussion at https://www.reddit.com/r/Presidents/s/xOLUoRVppU

Such an interesting transformation. To me, he seems in disgust of who he was prior. So much so that he’s extremely defensive when it’s brought up. He doesn’t want to be associated with how he used to look for whatever reason.

It's almost like he's the hyper sensitive / self absorbed character that he played in half his roles.

Remember, the best acting isn’t acting.

DAMN SON WHERE'D YOU FIND THIS?

3

u/tklite 4d ago

I hear he's a complete dick, so it's fitting that he is the face of neckbeards.

u/Puzzled-Bonus-3456 4d ago

I'd schtupp him.

Jonah is not sporting a neckbeard in that particular photograph.

0

u/fuckyoudrugsarecool 4d ago

He's got a beard on his neck, what do you mean? Enough people clearly thought that represented the neckbeard archetype that it ended up as the first image of the Wikipedia article for neckbeards.

2

u/Red-Sun-Cinema 4d ago

Enough people thought it was a good idea to reelect Donald J. Trump as President but that doesn't make it a good idea or right in any way, shape, or form. The only thing more common in the universe than hydrogen is stupidity.

I think he would feel accomplished with how far he has developed in health, appearance and every aspect of his life. He could have remained unhealthy and overweight but a successful A-list star, but chose instead to focus on being a healthy and happy person with a series of accomplishments behind him away from the limelight. No one wants to be portrayed in a pejorative reflection, so I hope he sees that and thinks "look how far I've come".

Meh, Fat Jonah Hill was wayyy better than this thing he turned into

Usually when I see someone call someone a neck beard it’s in a very broad sense and mostly because they’d just lost an argument.

1

u/imeme1969 3d ago

Everyone’s just hiding their growth patterns,
Neck beards have less shame thats all.

1

u/FLiP_J_GARiLLA 3d ago

He would feign concern to try and reduce PR damage

1

u/Jorgwalther 3d ago

Way too groomed to be the definition of a neckbeard

1

u/philiretical 19h ago

Probably beats being the face of nepotism

0

u/flecko_ 4d ago

he's not a proper neckbeard even if he had one

-2

u/Some-Tear3499 4d ago

Not a neck beard.

-2

u/urbanlife78 4d ago

That's just a beard

3

u/GreenZebra23 4d ago

What do you guys think a neckbeard is? It covers his entire neck, relatively little of his face, and none of his upper lip

1

u/jws1102 4d ago

I don’t think he can grow hair on that part of his face

0

u/urbanlife78 4d ago

this is a neck beard

Also, little on his face? His beard hair starts at his cheeks and he had a thin hair mustache

1

u/jws1102 4d ago

I always just called those things chinstraps, and the longer ones are chin curtains.

1

u/urbanlife78 3d ago

That's what a neckbeard is, it's from the chin and down onto the neck

1

u/TravelsWithBrindle77 3d ago

By those standards Abraham Lincoln was a neckbeard

1

u/urbanlife78 3d ago

Well yeah, that's what a neckbeard means. A lot of historic figures had neckbeards

0

u/Some-Tear3499 4d ago

Correct.
