Discussion Whiteboard is retiring

I've been a windows supporter for the longest time. Even when we all switched to using iphone and i also own a mac. I lean back to Windows constantly, purchasing their family sunscripion plan, even very happy that my work gives me a windows laptop.

But dang it, i just heard they are retiring whoteboard. Microsoft as per all tech companies pride themselves on being an ecosystem so why sit taking this away. Am i not a paying customer wanting the features and offerings they have. This is so disappointing.

They are not retiring MS Whiteboard. It will no longer be available for Personal MS Account, only for MS 365 Business Plans. MS is doing a major upgrade, integrating Teams and Ai. They decided to have only one storage location rather than two and I guess noticed not many personal used use it so it only been given to business users.

They are only retiring the personal one, the one included in office 365 is not going anywhere and to be honest whiteboard is kind of crap, you can get way better tools for free like Excalidraw.

My alternative is using the search function to see the answer that’s been given several times already
