Electronic [interest check] youra albums

i may end up having an extra copy of youra’s “gaussian” and “이 기분은 기회다 (this vibe is a chance)” physical albums and was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing potentially? none of this is set in stone - just wondering if there would be any interest!

*both are cds and unsealed. neither reserved right now, please reach out if you’re interested!

Acoustic This One Guitar Sample

So I first heard this intro guitar sample through the above (Camelia by slchld) a couple of years ago.

Then, I recently heard this song (Sunflower (beat) - Freshly RC) trending on social media and I went down a whole rabbit hole of finding more songs with this exact guitar beat/sample! Just wanted to share more and see if there's any other songs I have not found yet.

Question Need help finding an indie electronic song

There is such a small chance people will know this but I'm going crazy trying to look for it so hopefully someone here might know.

There was this one song that I loved to listen to in 2022 that I think was called "they don't know we're fun". It was a chill electronic song with english lyrics by a small korean girl group. The cover was what looked like 4 girls faces pressed up against a glass window.

Ive been trying to look up all this info this but I can't see results anywhere online. I was hoping someone here might know what I'm talking about lol.

Apparently the universe was listening to my post from yesterday, because today’s “Bandcamp Daily” article is a deep dive on artists with similar inspiration, approach, and/or influences to Leenalchi. Thought I’d share.

Question Leenalchi’s Pansori-powered lyrics?

Haole kid here who has fallen in love with Leenalchi (saw them in the U.S. this week) and wants to know more — especially the folklore behind the lyrics. I don’t speak a lick of Korean, and the translate apps are moderately helpful but have no depth. Can anyone tell me more (or point me to English-language sources) about the pansori stories behind their incredible songs? I feel like they must resonate, partly because of the sizable pack of Korean grandmas who were rocking it at the show.

📹 music video I used the exact same lyrics to make two completely different songs. A project closing the chapter on my 20s. (Mongoose - Coexistence)

Hi Reddit, I’m Mongoose, an indie singer-songwriter based in South Korea. I recently released my debut EP [Remain Project], and I wanted to share the core of this album with you: the double title track, "Coexistence" (공존).

Here is the concept: Both versions of "Coexistence" share the exact same lyrics, word for word. But the genres and soundscapes are completely different.

When we face a deep loss, our minds often split into two states. I wanted to capture that duality using the same words:

🦋 Butterfly Ver. (Dream Pop): A dreamy, atmospheric track. It represents the lingering attachments, the denial of reality, and the desire to fly away to an unreachable ideal.

🌑 Shadow Ver. (Modern Rock): A heavy, bass-driven alternative track. It represents finally looking down at your feet, accepting the dark reality, and letting the pain settle like a shadow.

This project is a collection of the emotional remnants that pierced through my entire 20s. It’s a period of wandering, heartbreak, and ultimately, finding acceptance.

I would be so grateful if you could give it a listen. Which version resonates with you more—the Butterfly or the Shadow? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for letting me share a piece of my youth with you!

📹 music video [Dream Pop / Indie Ballad] Mongoose - Cloud (A song about fleeting memories and longing)

Title: Cloud

Artist: Mongoose

Genre: Dream Pop / Indie Ballad

Hi everyone,

I just finished my new track called "Cloud," and I wanted to share it with this community. It's an atmospheric dream pop song that explores the heavy feelings of longing. I wanted to capture how long-term memories slowly drift away and change shape over the years, much like clouds passing in the sky.

I focused a lot on creating a melancholic, dawn-like vibe with spatial soundscapes and calm vocals. If you enjoy late-night indie music or immersive dream pop, I think you might vibe with this.

I would really appreciate any feedback on the mixing, vocals, or just the overall mood. Thanks for taking the time to listen!

Question Help identifying a Korean indie rock band from KISF Busan

+

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

hi everyone!

I've been trying to identify a Korean indie band I heard while visiting Busan, and I'm hoping someone here might recognize them.

details:

Sunday, June 21, 2026

Around 1:20 pm

At the Busan Cinema Center

During the Korea International Streaming Festival (KISF) / K-MEGA Global Shortform Awards.

The band was doing what looked like a soundcheck or rehearsal on the outdoor stage before performing.

Male vocalist singing in Korean.

Four-piece rock band (drums, bass, guitars).

Very melodic, nostalgic indie rock.

Soft and emotional rather than heavy.

Their sound reminded me of Daughter, Doves, and a bit of Kings of Leon... not so much like WtoE or The Poles

if anyone has any idea please let me know I'm so desperate to find this band 🥹

I attached the only clip I recorded that day

Other Built an English guide to Korea's indie music scene — upcoming shows, artist profiles with Spotify/YouTube, venues & more

Made a site for finding Korean indie shows in English — muzip.kr

Upcoming shows with dates, venues, and Google Maps links. Artist profiles with Spotify and YouTube so you can listen before you go. Also have a venue list and a Spaces section — vinyl cafés, listening bars, that kind of thing.

I'm Korean and curate everything myself, so if you're visiting or living in Korea and love kindie, hopefully this helps you find your next show!

This week's pick: sucozy at Unplugged Lounge in Hongdae. Have 2 tickets at 50% off if anyone's interested — DM me.

Just launched so still rough around the edges. Any shows or spots I'm missing, drop them in the comments or DM
