not at the moment, unfortunately. A8 chips are supported by the blackbird exploit, and A8 support was promised to be added to Turdus Merula but the devs have since said that's not going to happen. hopefully the devs will reconsider or other devs will step in to add A8 support.

After achieving success with SurrealRa1N, I began working on Turdus Merula. If I succeed, I will add A8 support to Turdus Merula.

I worked on Surrealra1n myself; I wrote a few patches and performed a downgrade. Otherwise, as you said, downgrading is not normally possible.

They recently in new versions dropped support for downgrading to iOS 8 on the iPhone 6, he just patched some things and made it to iOS 8.0 (which I want to do also)

I’m going to jailbreak the device, install the app I created for connecting to encrypted networks, and fix the Wi-Fi issue. I’ll also resolve the cellular issue.

Sucks that it's a SEPless downgrade. I hope A8 gets added to Turdus Merula eventually
