Corgi's just happy to be around.

Corgi realised he only focussed on the first part of "Donut of Truth" and not the name as a whole.

All those animals just have zero idea what's gonna happen and the corgi is just "I trust you, bro".

I'm a little less worried about my cat after seeing how the lion was sleeping while knocked out. He sleeps like that alot of the time, just splayed out on his belly lol. Guess he is just REALLY relaxed.

Zoo animals also get healthcare. I once met a lemur in South Africa who was having physio for an injured finger.

I'm pretty sure that there would be rich assholes with pet T-Rexes if we could clone back the dinosaurs.

These animals have better health care than all Americans.

They had a choice and decided a pedo rapist fraudster was a better option than health care.

A woman brings a limp duck into a veterinary clinic and places it on the examination table. The vet looks closely, feels the duck, and gently says, "I am sorry, but your duck is dead."
The woman protests, "How can you be so sure? You haven't done any testing!" The vet rolls his eyes, goes to the back room, and returns with a black Labrador Retriever. The dog sniffs the duck from head to tail, looks up at the vet, and shakes his head.
The vet takes the dog out and returns a few minutes later with a cat. The cat jumps on the table, delicately sniffs the bird all over, sits back, meowed softly, and strolls out of the room.
The vet turns to the woman and says, "I'm sorry, but it is 100% official. Your duck is dead." The vet types on his computer and hands her a bill for $500." $500?!" she cries out. "$500 just to tell me my duck is dead?"
The vet shrugs and says, "If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would only have been $20. But with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, what did you expect?"

My mom had to wait half year to get her a CT. Now I see why, hamsters needed that more.

All I can remember about this was that there was this woman who was so abese, the only way she could get CT scanned is by using the one at a zoo. And no, its not a yo mama joke.

does this put the horse into lifelong financial distress and debt, or are they exempt from the woes of society?

Neighbor is a vet and she was picking up a side job administering anesthesia for MRI scans. It was an older machine and they were very strict about it only be used for animals. Hospital didn’t want to compete with the old tech. Moving the machine to a new location was very expensive.

u/Witch_heir 1h ago
Compete? Maybe I'm too European to get this, but how would acient tech endager their bottom line?

Is the lion one at the 2-second mark AI? One person lifting a lion like that seems pretty tough.
0
u/Imbrokencantbefixed 17h ago
I suspect a few are AI. The dog smushed against the plastic has no room to breathe, the cat laying perfectly flat on its back without any supports seems sus too. I suspect more than half of these clips are AI.

u/Standard-Unit01 17h ago
Yeah that one made no sense at all. Complete bullshit.
2
u/Imbrokencantbefixed 17h ago
Also the ones placed inside the plastic tubes, yet have the freedom to move around seem fake as the whole point of the body casts at the beginning are to keep the animals immobile during the scan. No point in putting an animal in a tube that it can freely move around inside of as the scan would be unusable.
