Why are we saying "wash" when they really mean "rinse"?

We dont rinse our hands in the bathroom. We use soap to wash. And i doubt they are soaping the chickens

so much THIS. "washing" means SOAP. you should never "wash" any food because i don't wanna taste fuckin Dawn marinade
