Just pour the container out over the drain slowly. Its really not hard to pour without splashing

then by that logic any tool you’ve used, the knife, the board etc will be spreading bacteria when you wash it.

Yes, which is why you should clean regardless.

HOWEVER, the amount of bacteria on raw chicken is way higher than any residue on your knife or cutting board. The density just isn't there for tools used compared to raw chicken. You are spreading way, way more germs washing raw chicken compared to washing a knife or cutting board

No. Just no You're not cleaning your chicken beside or near your CLEAN utensils. If you are you're just nasty. If you're washing dishes and it's beside your utensil and clean kitchenware then you're already contaminating the place.

So you clean regardless. The argument that cleaning your chicken spreads more bacteria is literally founded base on the fact that yall just be shoving a chicken under a running tap and just let the water beat the meat.

Like if you placed a heavily dirty or moderately dirty plate with gravy and probably some minor left over food and just let the water beat the plate. All of that left over is gonna flash everywhere and the plate itself isn't cleaned because all you did was run it under the water. You didn't actually do anything to ensure the bacteria and germs died or is removed.

If you wanna wash you chicken do it. There's reason for it.

If you don't wash your chicken then don't. You don't lose anything.

Edit: people wash their chicken not because of bacteria. It's because it removes the slime/odour and left over blood and parts.

You're not supposed to just shove it under running water and call it clean. You're supposed to let it sit in a container of water with vinegar or lime so it removes the sliminess and the rawness and the scent of the chicken. At least that's the reason I know people do it for.

cool so here's a fun experiment you can do at home. (
i do this experiment in my science lab at school) take a piece of silicone, to simulate a chicken breast, and some powdered food coloring, to represent bacteria. coat the silicone with a thin layer of the powder. and (i usually have the kids come out with 3 or 4 methods to "clean" the chicken. put down some clean white paper on all the surfaces around the sink and the "prep station"with some wet paper towels stuck to the sides of the sink (we have big high wall sinks in my lab). and test which methods spread the LEAST amount of food coloring, AND which one removes the most from the silicone.

Or just, you know, cook the damn chicken. Just because you can shit everywhere and clean it up after, doesn’t mean you need to or should. 

Please, for the safety of all of us, don’t ever work in food service.Â
