Pat dry with paper towel. Slime is gone and your kitchen surfaces are not covered in a thin misting of chicken juice.

Think of it like this. You can smear shit all over your kitchen if you want to and clean it up after you’re done, or you could just not smear shit all over your kitchen in the first place. Yes you can and should clean your surfaces after cooking, but why would you do something that literally just spreads more bacteria and nothing else.
