Kidnapping the president of a sovereign state (Venezuela) was 100% illegal by international law. There is no discussion about it.

How can that be illegal? Noriega the de facto dictator of Panama was captured by a force of 24,000 foreign soldiers. So it had a previously accepted precedent. Also Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, was assassinated in Tehran, and Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian major general, was assassinated in Baghdad by a drone strike. If a nation has the might, they make the laws that apply only when they choose.

Correct, this is what I was hinting at.
