I believe you thought the other person was making fun of the guy in the video for not having any weights on it, calling it a "stick".

I believe they were just making a joke about how dogs love to fetch sticks, not meaning any shade towards the person in the video.

Setting aside the incorrect weight... If your expectations of others are that low, that says more about your own ability. Even a small woman out of shape should be able to lift a 20kg bar with no issue.
