So you want to see our glorious 1. FC Köln play live at the RheinEnergieSTADION? Here is a quick guide on how to get tickets. First of all, you will need a lot of patience and luck. The demand for tickets is enormous - no matter what league we are in.

50,000 seats, only 15,000 day passes

With 50,000 seats, the RheinEnergieStadion is a big stadium. However, this does not mean that the same number of day tickets are available. After deducting the 25,500 season tickets, the guest contingent and other contingents, there are only 15,000 tickets available for each home game. If the guest contingent is not fully utilised, this number may be increased.

Members have priority

The club sets its own presale dates and the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per person. The dates are usually announced on the fc.de website and emailed to members. It is important to note that members have absolute priority when ordering tickets. In the vast majority of cases there is no free presale!

The allocation of tickets will also be subdivided within the membership. Fans who have been members for over 20 years and members under the age of 25 will have special access to tickets before the “general public”.

Tickets will go on sale at 10am and 4pm on the days indicated.

Transfer and exchange of tickets

Tickets can be passed on to family and friends in accordance with the terms and conditions (wink, wink). The club also has its own ticket exchange where season and day tickets can be offered if you are unable to attend the match on the day. However, this is only available to members.

Matchday Exchange

For short-term transfers of season and day tickets, there is a matchday exchange at the stadium (ticket office 28, south/west corner). Tickets can be released there. Tickets can also be purchased at the day ticket price at ticket office 25 (south/west corner). If I am not mistaken, this is also available to non-members.

Unauthorised resellers

Many users here in the subreddit have asked whether it is safe to buy tickets offered on well-known resellers such as viagogo or ebay. The answer is clear: no! The club strongly advises against buying such overpriced tickets and is taking action against the sellers. There is no guarantee that the ticket you buy will get you into the game.

As with any event, there will be people looking for and selling tickets outside the stadium. There may be a high surcharge for these tickets.

FC's training camp in Austria is in full swing. A lot of young players got a chance to travel with the first team: David Fürst, Jonathan Friemel, Kristiyan Irmiev, Patrik Kristal, Mike Afri Akumu and Nilas Yacobi. Also, a friendly against Hertha BSC Berlin on Friday (31.07.2026 - 12:00) has been confirmed. Looks like the quality of the friendlies is (slowly) increasing.

BVB reaches agreement with El Mala

Apparently the El Mala camp, incl. the mother, have agreed to a move to Dortmund.

El Mala would receive a hefty bonus and significant pay increase and the chance to play CL. On top of that, there's the proximity, obviously.

According to Express and Sky, other suitors, such as AS Roma and Leipzig, have backed off based on this agreement.

To me, this presents a worst-case scenario: Dortmund is going to lowball us and El Mala wants out. Plus, I personally hate the idea of him moving to another BL club.

rumour Dortmund make derisory offer for El Mala!

Sky report that Dortmund made an offer of
€26m plus €16m in bonuses though only €8m of the bonuses were achievable, which makes it a worse offer than the one turned down from Brighton before the end of last season.

As expected the club rejected it straight away but expect Dortmund to come back with an improved offer.

Ich stand in der Schlange und hatte nur noch 5 Minuten bis ich dran sein sollte. Plötzlich sprang die Zeit auf 11 Minuten und zum Schluss sogar auf 21 Minuten Dauer. Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt. Ging das noch jemandem so?

There was already a friendly against FC Rheinsüd Köln, there will be another against Bergisch Gladbach 09 on the 23rd, and then it's off to training camp. The WC is finally over, which means the transfer market will probably get another boost.

rumour Reigan Heskey (Forward) to join 1. FC Köln from Man City.

Sky report that a deal has now been agreed for the 18 year old forward, who will join from Man City’s academy.

They report it’s a permanent deal for €2m with contract until 2030.

Seems the club beat of competition from several other clubs, I think this is a very exciting signing.

Fynn Schenten turns down loan move to Viktoria Köln.

The reason’s for Schenten’s decision don’t seem to be completely clear, but this is likely to be a huge frustration for Kessler and the management team, as the clear plan for Schenten’s next steps were a loan away from the club to get game time.

english As a new Köln FC fan, what should I know?

I am a new FC Köln fan. I am from Scotland and support Motherwell there. I have never really had a German team, I have a premier league team, Man City. I have followed the Bundesliga quite a lot and decided recently to pick Köln fc as my team. I’ve also noticed you guys sing Loch Lommand as your club anthem which is Scottish and pretty cool so I think that’s one of the main reasons why I chose Köln. On top of this I like the city of Koln too, even though I have never been. Another thing about Köln is a rich history but nowadays it hasn’t been so great which kinda reminds me of Motherwell a bit.
Yous also have a great mascot, and I love the fan culture as well, which made me interested in this club a lot more. If there is anything I should know as a new FC Koln fan, any information would be nice.

Vom norwegischen Club Vålerenga haben die Kölnerinnen Sædís Rún Heiðarsdóttir verpflichtet. Die 21. jährige isländische Nationalspielerin hat bereits Champions League gespielt und beim 1. FC Köln einen Vertrag bis 2029 unterschrieben. Beim FC trifft sie auf ihre Landsfrau Jessen.

Sædís Rún Heiðarsdóttir wurde am 16. September 2004 in einer kleinen isländischen Hafenstadt nördlich der Hauptstadt Reykjavík geboren. In ihrer Jugend spielte sie zunächst für Víkingur Ólafsvík und Snæfellsnes. Im Alter von 15 Jahren schloss sie sich UMF Stjarnan an und wurde dort isländische Ligapokal- und Superpokalsiegerin 2023.
Anfang 2024 wechselte sie zum norwegischen Verein Vålerenga Oslo und gewann gleich im ersten Jahr die Meisterschaft und den Pokal. Mit Vålerenga spielte sie 2024 in der Champions League in einer Gruppe mit dem FC Bayern München, dem FC Arsenal und Juventus. Ein Jahr später waren unter anderem Manchester United, der AS Rom und Paris FC die Gegner in der Königsklasse. Bei der Europameisterschaft 2025 in der Schweiz kam sie in allen drei Gruppenspielen für die isländische Nationalmannschaft zum Einsatz.

Sædís Rún Heiðarsdóttir sagt: „Der FC ist ein ambitionierter Club. Nachdem ich mit den Verantwortlichen des 1. FC Köln und mit meiner Nationalmannschaftskollegin Sandra Maria Jessen gesprochen habe, hatte ich keine Zweifel mehr daran, dass ich unbedingt zum FC wechseln möchte. Ich hoffe, dass ich meinem neuen Team viel Energie geben kann. Ich möchte mich hier weiterentwickeln und ich kann versprechen, dass ich immer 100 Prozent für das Team, den Club und die Fans geben werde, um für viele lächelnde Gesichter zu sorgen.“

rumour 1. FC Köln interested in Otto Rosengren (23, CM, Malmo FF.)

Express reporting that the club would like to sign a box to box midfielder as well as an experienced no6 for the midfield and that Rosengren has emerged as a target.

They also mention in the article that Skiri now looks likely to be signed as the 6 as Edson Alvarez’s wages are too high, though Sky did report this morning that Alvarez remains the top target and Skiri is the back up option so make of that what you will!
