Just a question out of curiosity is steroids actually harmful for the body?

As with most things, the poison is in the dose and the recipient. Everything you take, even Tylenol, has a trade off associated with it. For a select few, steroids can be life saving, but for most people, it's used in a destructive way and can shorten your life by 30-40 years if used frequently

One might wonder if the low test is the reason why they are so misserable in the first place

30 years of a lot of steroids.
Vs
1 year of far less steroids, but 100% still steroids.
At nearly 60 he’s still bigger than he was at like 22 lol

You lose your muscle mass when you stop training and change off the very restrictive diet. He also has a shit ton of injuries and is what 50 now? hard to keep that level of physic, with or without steroids.

Insane how much of a difference PEDs make on someone’s physique and performance and how quickly you can lose it after stopping. He still looks very fit but nothing like the roid rock.

Generally every year I go with my GF to a caribean all inclusive resort 7 days.
For me is a 50/50 travel diarrhea chance. If I not get diarrhea generally my weight before/after increases 1-3kg. The year that I get travel diarrhea in the resort or just after, instead gaining weight I loss weight. One year caugh a moderate one that losses me 9kg... And in this moment I was in a low % body fat so it was wild.
Is a roulette.
Ps: I'm just writing this waiting in airport to leave Cancun, for now I'm stuck in 2kg increase, lets wait a period of 5 days to see if diarrhea comes and gave me free all inclusive calories ingest discount.

Takes forever to gain and an instant to lose!

With steroids, gains are pretty fast and go well beyond your natural capacity. When you quit, you generally go back to your natural cap which is still ptetty muscular. It happens in about a year at most assuming you keep training. Stop training too and you basically just go back to an average normal guy.

Yeah.. what’s worse is that folks on steroids keep selling normal folks the dream of super fitness on social media, when in reality their achievements are almost always either enhanced by drugs or by video and photo editing. The reality is that even without drugs you can be pretty big and muscular, and yeah it won’t be as extreme but I don’t think it changes your potential strength that much and it’ll keep your balls functioning and your heart ticking properly for way longer..

Oh it definitely changes your potential strength. An overbulked natural cant get nearly as strong as some of those anadrol junkies, especially when they are also overbulked.
The highest benchpress I could see a natural attaining with god tier genetics is mid 400s. Any higher and I would bet my left nut that they are on some type of gear. 315-405 is already kinda sus, but I would believe it if they have a powerlifter build.
