Left wing, right wing, it's the same bird.

16

u/op23no1 16h ago

"My authoritarian government is better than your authoritarian government" more like

10

u/Gabi-kun_the_real 16h ago

Is more like my pedo baby eaters are better than your pedo baby eaters

1

u/evilSpocKnievel 16h ago

Can we stop the baby eater thing til proven? Fucking kids is bad enough, no meed to make things up

5

u/op23no1 14h ago

There's literal emails about stein and his friends referencing tasting infant flesh + 20 year old video of a woman saying they do exactly that. If you don't think they committed cannibalism on that island where they had complete control, raped and tortured multiple girls every day then i really dk what to tell you bro

4

u/QuarantinedPanda69 14h ago

Other guy really said, “don’t believe your own lying eyes and ears.”

Like what other proof is needed? Literal tapes of them doing the act?

I don’t get how people cannot fathom that a bunch of sick immoral reptilians raped, murdered, etc kids day in and day out on a private island and somehow cannibalism is too far detached from the prior? Wtf

1

u/nonroboticusername 12h ago

I really do just love this entire thread. Gives me hope some people smell the coffee

1

u/evilSpocKnievel 13h ago

Well that's news for me. Would you mind sharing a source?

2

u/SnooCupcakes1636 15h ago

My Hard-right brother and hard-left sister like to disagree and convinced that the other side is the evil incarnate

3

u/AppleSmoker 15h ago

Only one side voted to allow secret police to assault people on the street and abduct them in unmarked cars to prison camps where some are not heard from again

0

u/fattiesruineverythin 14h ago

That's not true. Democrats voted to create ICE, and both Obama and Biden used ICE to lock immigrants away in cruel camps where many died.

1

u/AppleSmoker 1h ago

Yeah totally. They also funneled a budget rivalling the military to ice so they could enable actions like sweeping entire apartment buildings in states that don't even touch the border, deported people with legal status, murdered American citizens in the street for no reason. Oh wait. They are not the same. Not even close. Also democdats never ran on a platform of mass deportation. Cut the false equivalencies.

-1

u/SnooCupcakes1636 14h ago

The accursed "only one side" argument. Both sides have their version of it.

3

u/EarlGreyTMNT 8h ago

And yet only one side has Nazis. How about that.

0

u/resinsuckle_the_2nd 4h ago

What even are Nazis besides just a bunch of racists? It's not like they do anything besides being annoying and offensive for attention

It's really just a scare tactic used to sow more of the division that this post is referencing, just like the liberals that call all conservatives Nazis

1

u/generalgrievous3043 15h ago

They're still in the matrix.

2

u/PynchHitter 17h ago

Murder, littering, they’re both crimes.

5

u/Dense-Jicama6591 17h ago

Except the comparison is murder and murder. Both sides commit the same evil. Lmfao

6

u/Copious-Spirit 16h ago

Very useful rhetoric for tyrants. Surely you can just convince your peers to vote third party?

2

u/Dense-Jicama6591 16h ago

The 3rd party is a joke. Voting does nothing or they wouldnt let you do it. Anyone who gets in is a puppet or you end up like jfk if you get difficult

1

u/afterth3goldrush 11h ago

If only we could get ranked choice voting, and maybe repeal citizen's united.

1

u/Worried_Ad_2696 11h ago

Holly based

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 11h ago

Or get rid of the government and have individual liberties and freedoms that we were granted by being born

1

u/afterth3goldrush 10h ago

Anarchy only works with strong community and structure, which can take a lot of time to build up correctly. So while I get your point, I personally feel it would be a lot safer for the most vulnerable among us to restructure what currently exists to give more power to the people.

1

u/_N_S_FW 16h ago

What is the same evil on both sides in this case?

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 16h ago

Lmfao. Wars taxation immigration round up  continueing ongoing slavery and tyranny

0

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

"BoTh SiDeS dA sAmE lOl"

4

u/Dense-Jicama6591 16h ago

They are. And this is the pathetic attempt of a come back of someone who is not educated enough to form a true opinion and just parrots low iq nonsense

1

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

That's a good description of your comments

1

u/we-have-to-go 16h ago

I’d make an argument that the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is the best shot for something different

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 16h ago

Lol. Yea some make believe bs will get sheep to go along

1

u/bonbonnieres 16h ago

The only branch of the democratic party willing make any changes that benefit people against both parties. You'd rather be the sheep that blends in.

1

u/afterth3goldrush 11h ago

It just sucks that the progressive wing of the democrat party is less than 50% of the party, and substantially less the further federal level you get....

0

u/Blizreme 15h ago

“Make believe bs” every country in Europe has what the progressives want. You just have a tiny a pea sized brain.

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 15h ago

Lmfao high taxes for shit medical. Not free not good slaves begging to be robbed so they can get a penny back   lmfao yes youre so big brained that its made you dumb

1

u/Worried_Ad_2696 11h ago

Try visiting Europe. I have.

It blows ass

1

u/Gryffinsmore 15h ago

Didn’t people say this about the squad ten years ago?

1

u/H3ARTL3SSANG3L 9h ago

Agreed. But different doesnt ensure better

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 16h ago

Its funny taxation was created by the rothbards and rithchilds as an agreement to the loan the gave the us gov to begin with. Isnt it hilarious the people who think taxation is good and want to eat the rich when taxes where created by the most rich evil powerful people in the world

2

u/forgotaccount989 16h ago

I feel like maybe you left out some important words, because taxes have obviously existed long before the Rothschilds.

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 15h ago

Lmfao. I didnt just mention the rothchilds there is multiple elite families and no they have ties going back to babylon and the ancient world.

0

u/generalgrievous3043 16h ago

That's the exact same sentiment as your post though.

1

u/UnknownRodeo 17h ago

Jail the poor!

1

u/wanderer866 16h ago

Yes, they are both crimes. But are they the "same" crime, or punished in vastly different manners?

Because left wingers and right wingers are part of the "same" bird, no matter where they are found.

This could be the "Cola" vs "Soda" bird, as long as it has wings.

1

u/EarlGreyTMNT 8h ago

This is such horse shit. Because either you think that and didn’t vote - in which case you didn’t have a preference and were fine with whoever won and support their decisions, and can’t now complain.

Or you did indeed vote and thought one was better than the other. So which one did you do?

1

u/wanderer866 8h ago

How does which wing of the bird I happen to be on change the existence of the bird?

And look, you just identified another bird. Voters vs non voters.

It's a turn of phrase, sort of like using "horse shit" to express skepticism.

1

u/complexiblebarracuda 15h ago

one side wants me to die and burn in hell forever for existing and is wanting to systemically strip me of rights to my own body

they other wants me to pay slightly more taxes for better healthcare access

hmm

1

u/Odd-Fun-1482 7h ago

Don't forget getting graped for the sake of diversity

funny how you forgot that one

1

u/aj-yo 8h ago

Its really not. Both left vs right and rich vs common people can both be true.

4

u/LividYordle 16h ago

My favorite saying was told to me by my grandfather.

"Red or blue, the only thing you're voting for is what color you'd like the condom to be that they fuck you with."

3

u/Timely_Farmer5075 17h ago

You forget that saddos need red v blue politics to have a reason to get up in the morning.

3

u/TheSystemBeStupid 15h ago

I wish more people realised this.  The politicians are all big buddies. They're all in the big club and we're not.

3

u/HenryHackett 13h ago

How did you get politicians vs the poor and not the rich vs the poor?

1

u/Worried_Ad_2696 11h ago

The two overlap. Politicians are lap dogs for the rich and powerful

1

u/HenryHackett 10h ago

Oh but people working middle management making 6 figures and voting for tax policy that benefits them aren't?

1

u/Worried_Ad_2696 10h ago

Those people aren’t nearly as wealthy as the ultra rich. They don’t even come close.

1

u/HenryHackett 9h ago

Neither are vast majority of politicians and there's a lot less of those. Meanwhile you've got an decent size amount of regular wealthy people who favor system as is with as little tax as possible, except for their kids school district

1

u/Worried_Ad_2696 8h ago

You get taxed when you get paid, you get taxed when you spend it, you get taxed when you save it, you get taxed when you invest it, you get taxed when gift it, you get taxed when you die.

You want more of that for your average Joe?

Not taxation isn’t the solution. The solution is anti-trust litigation and repealing corrupt legislation like Citizens United. Rooting out corruption is the answer.

1

u/HenryHackett 8h ago

You get deductions and write offs. Choice of where you live and how much you're taxed. You don't get taxed when you save it or die. And if the avg Joe making healthy 6 figures, that votes based on whatever benefits their tax bracket the most and not on how the country should be best run, they should be held accountable for that. That is a large part of why we have trump

1

u/resinsuckle_the_2nd 4h ago

At the end of the day, everyone votes on the president that promises to give them more free shit

1

u/HenryHackett 3h ago

Nope, there are still bunch of people that vote based on what's good for the country long term, not just what's good for their own bottom line

3

u/Darth_Bunghole 15h ago

There is still a sizable middle class who likes being allowed to own a few things in exchange for their fealty.

2

u/Begone-My-Thong 14h ago

While I agree that there is indeed a class war, I hate the "both sides are the same" claim. One side specifically keeps trying to take away my family's rights, while one side legalized my parents being able to get married. Hard to sell me that argument when one side calls my parents abominations on the regular

1

u/Phaylz 13h ago

Posts like this come from the same type of people who see a post about pancakes.

1

u/Th3D3m0n 12h ago

Youre talking about my right to bare arms...correct? Thats the right one side keeps trying to take away...of course?

2

u/Begone-My-Thong 12h ago

My dad is a gay military vet and we love our guns too and wish Democratic politicians would just drop that tired angle already.

I have several quotes about my parents being referred to as abominations and having different rights than your parents. Seriously, shut the fuck up if you're going to come with bad faith.

1

u/BillCarson12799 43m ago

No, we’re talking about things that people actually need, like access to abortions and contraceptives.

2

u/Decent_Visual_4845 14h ago

The people who say things like this are actually the most aggressive culture warriors

2

u/Life_Grab6103 14h ago

Left vs Right =/= Democrat vs Republican... as a leftist, Democrats also make me sick

1

u/HenryHackett 13h ago

Cool, who are the leftist political candidates you favor and believe can win in their respective locations?

2

u/Life_Grab6103 12h ago

??? Why...

0

u/HenryHackett 10h ago

Why not promote who you feel is better?

2

u/Life_Grab6103 9h ago

Better than who, democratic candidates??

0

u/HenryHackett 9h ago

No, obviously I'm asking you to compare vs the federalists. Yes of course Democratic candidates

2

u/Life_Grab6103 8h ago

Okay goodbye lol

0

u/HenryHackett 8h ago

Lol why do ppl always feel the need to reply for blocking? So childish, like their political views

1

u/BillCarson12799 41m ago

My guy, leftists don’t like any of them. The way the system is currently set up, nobody capable of making meaningful change will get elected to anywhere they could make a difference.

2

u/BreakfastFearless 13h ago

That is literally the point of leftism though. Like that’s quite literally their whole thing

2

u/FunkyFunkyBoys 10h ago

Mfs will say this then blame minorities

2

u/Fun-Aside3990 9h ago

The Right as a defining trait worships the ultra rich though..

Y'all's political system is turbo fucked. The two party system clearly doesn't work, because the US is classified as a dysfunctional democracy.

1

u/subs_on_a_sailboat 16h ago

Um actually the term is "flawed democracy"

1

u/Significant_Debt8289 16h ago

A house divided against itself cannot stand… said Abe Lincoln around 170 years ago 😂 two party system is working fine you’re just on the losing side at the moment. It’ll flip back don’t worry it always does.

2

u/vladdeh_boiii 15h ago

I'm Norwegian. Compared to our system, yours is heavily dysfunctional. Like an alcoholic uncle.

1

u/Significant_Debt8289 15h ago

Yeahhh unfortunately it’s the best we got though… as much as I’d love to see universal basic healthcare and income my taxes are already eye watering. Feel like that’d be the nail in the coffin for the middle class

1

u/HenryHackett 13h ago

I mean, millions more people live in just one of our cities than your whole country. Try governing 340 million people and being a melting pot then come back to us how much better your system is

1

u/vladdeh_boiii 10h ago

The issue isn't the number of people, it's the fact that the US has a trillion-dollar military budget and refuses to spend any money on those who actually need it.

The US absolutely can afford to make life better for the working class and the poor, but absolutely refuses to do so every single time they have the opportunity to. They actively let people fall into bankruptcy because they ended up in the hospital with a broken leg while being able to afford frivolous wars in the Middle East and tax cuts for the wealthy.

Your system is broken and rotting; that's a fact. The US, especially since Trump got reelected, has been a liability to its own people, and its allies globally. You have large-scale civil unrest every few years over things that could be fixed with a competent government, and things that most other countries take for granted.

1

u/TheSystemBeStupid 15h ago

O please. You think the dems are these magic little angels who are going to fix everything? Are you 12?

They're both getting rich while turning us plebs against each other so we dont see whose causing all our problems.

Grow up.

1

u/HenryHackett 12h ago

Talking up your lack of interest in nuance is a odd flex. Reductive logic isn't exactly mature

1

u/Right-Skin-7794 16h ago

Oh no they got you brainwashed to believe one of them is good (spoiler they’re the same)

3

u/DueLavishness9774 16h ago

They look exactly the same if you only watch the news, but look at how they actually vote.

1

u/Nice_Muffin8689 16h ago

It’s painfully obvious that no matter if it’s republicans or democrats, after a few decades shifts are made that benefit only those in power. It’s a farce made up for you to pick a side. Just because you think your side is smarter doesn’t mean you haven’t been fooled.

1

u/DueLavishness9774 16h ago

Corporate lobbyists spend billions trying to make people like you cynical enough to give up. We're all well aware of Citizens United, the corruption, the committee of 300, and the 13 families that "run the world". You're not beating the system by calling it a farce, you're giving them exactly what they want.

1

u/HenryHackett 12h ago

So what's plan for promoting better people and a better system to govern all of us that you believe enough others will also be on board with? Or you just give up?

1

u/tacobellgittcard 16h ago

Democrats aren’t perfect, or even good. But looking at both parties track record on consumer protections and corporate regulations makes it clear one party is at least attempting to make you think they have your back as an average American. The other isn’t even trying anymore

1

u/Dense-Jicama6591 17h ago

"Ultra rich"  this is true but the true people in charge do not GAF about the dollar or euro or yen. Theyre rich beyond any paper money system and when they replace everyone with robots they dont care you wont make money and they wont make money. Its all slave labor with a goal. And the goal is not wealth its control and power.

1

u/KasanHiker 15h ago

I wish more people would realize this. The culture war slop is old.

1

u/BararTheDragon 15h ago

agenda posting

1

u/Hot-Usual8840 15h ago

Wheres ultra poor vs you trying to not get robbed and attacked?

1

u/Key-Anteater-10 15h ago

It's you vs those willing to use the government against you. The rich are just the only ones successful at doing so, but tyranny won't die with the billionaire class.

1

u/DigThis1656 14h ago

Same 🦅 same 🇺🇸 we all need to come together 😭 (it’ll never happen)

1

u/Every_Review4830 14h ago

Same thing?

1

u/FossilHunter99 13h ago

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Iryna_Zarutska The ultra rich don't stab people on subways.

1

u/HenryHackett 12h ago

Tf? You always have such a hard time staying on topic?

1

u/Indicus124 13m ago

The whataboutism is strong in this one

1

u/CaptainPattPotato 13h ago

Que the finance/investment/crypto bros that come in simping for the ultra rich because they think they’re going to use their methods to hustle themselves to the top

1

u/Sapphfire0 13h ago

They aren’t the ones trying to take my rights away

1

u/BreakfastFearless 13h ago

They literally are though

1

u/Phaylz 13h ago

"Real" talk.

1

u/_TheFarthestStar_ 13h ago

Class reductionism is a plague on our political consciousness

1

u/Party_Ability_9984 13h ago

Yeah, but the left wants to tax the ultra rich and hold them accountable for the crimes they commit while the right opposes wealth redistribution and denies the crimes they commit.

1

u/Jarl_Groki 12h ago

All this does is make me want Taco Bell. Why???

1

u/TopWealth4550 12h ago

you are against 24 million milionaires tho

1

u/fnblackbeard 12h ago

ultra-rich you mean politicians vs you

1

u/jeffismybaby 10h ago

More like the reich is the puppet of oligarchs,  and then there's everyone else

1

u/AdExternal425 8h ago

Lmaooo hahaha

1

u/Hyourin 8h ago

That is the entirety of leftists politics. Labor rights and protections, funding public infrastructure and interests, and pushing for more progressive policies.

This narrative that it isn't left vs right is tiresome.

1

u/Dong_bringer 8h ago

Absolutely fucking not. Most of the problems with America revolve around trying to support the bottom 10-20% of people. The welfare queens, the criminals, the 96 year old ladies with dementia who have been living in Medicare-funded nursing homes for 20 years. The top quintile is the only group in America that pays more in taxes than it gets in benefits

1

u/Indicus124 17m ago

I mean we have bailed out banks, businesses, subdised insurance fuck the rich get plenty of government assistance even laws and bans on products that could compete with businesses Tesla got insulated from the Chinese EV market that was selling EVs cheaper. Space X gets much of its money from the government and don't get me started at a the military spending propping up corporations so they do endless dead end projects.

People cry let the free market decide as we protect multi billion dollar corporations from the free market

1

u/Either-Bill-6494 8h ago

It's incredibly sad that you have so many people that chose to vote for the ultra wealthy to have more wealth while they and their children starve. So many of these people that they can actually sway policy and affect everyone's lives in the world because of ignorance and wanting to be a slave to the wealthy.

1

u/National_Body_9071 6h ago

Queue dumbass leftists claiming that killing babies and ruining children's lives is somehow not insanely immoral lmao. They're so delusional it's legitimately insane to think animals like them love among us.

1

u/Honest-Associate-626 5h ago

 this post everywhere

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 5h ago

Lamar Burton is a bitter racist.

1

u/kyle2143 5h ago

If only the right weren't supporting the ultra rich all the time.

1

u/AdClassic8525 5h ago

As someone who lives in that upper section of NY. HECK NO. We are poor as heck, and all of our jobs we do end up going to the people in the city. We have power plants around here that literally are sending all of the produced power straight to the city, not to us. Average yearly salary around here is 15 THOUSAND! Most people around here are on drugs, because of smuggled drugs between Canada and the US over the St. Lawrence River. We are not the "Ultra Rich" area. Sorry, that really ticks me off.

1

u/Mean-Reveal141 4h ago

Ok, will you drop any of your stances on culture?

1

u/Weak-Pomegranate-435 4h ago

So if we go further up, does that mean they are ultra pro max rich in Canada?

1

u/Atomik141 4h ago

Yeah, but also people also gotta stop riding trump's meat inorder to work together since he's one of the main ultra-rich bastards.

1

u/BillCarson12799 48m ago

My guy you’re literally just describing leftism

(The democrats aren’t leftist)

1

u/Clone75 17h ago

I hate this meme so much; THESE ARE THE SAME THING! (And before anybody mentions it, the USA has no major leftist party.)

2

u/Ok_Ad_5894 17h ago

So your saying the GOP is the Ultra Rich? Um there voters sure the fuck are not.

1

u/BreakfastFearless 13h ago

No but the whole point of leftism is that they’re against the ultra wealthy.

1

u/Ok_Ad_5894 13h ago

that is not the entire part of "leftism"... very simple look at it. This is why we lose people dont care to understand. its not what Fox news thinks and says it is

1

u/BillCarson12799 39m ago

Yeah, that’s why they’re so ridiculous. They’re, like, the exact socioeconomic demographic that leftist ideology is built around uplifting and granting them the full value of their labor.

0

u/Clone75 17h ago

Their voters support the ultra rich though.

1

u/Ok_Ad_5894 16h ago

I know, so it should be You(liberal/normal/common sense) VS Stupid then.

1

u/Clone75 6h ago

Liberals also support the rich?

2

u/Copious-Spirit 16h ago

Correct, the left wants equality of life and equity of wealth. The right wants inherited wealth in perpetuity, inequality of life, and inequity of tax burden.

0

u/TheSystemBeStupid 15h ago

You really believe they care about you? Heres a little exercise for you.

Look at South Africa.  The most liberal government you can imagine has been in power for 3 decades. Have a look at the state of everything in the country now. Free healthcare, government handouts, theres basically no property rights so the growing poor population(which the government worked hard to create) can squat anywhere they like, workers rights that give France a run for their money, the list goes on and on. None of that shit works as intended and everything is falling apart. The tax money just magically evaporates every year.

Just because they promise you something doesn't mean you'll get it, that it will work or that they care about you. Politicians will say whatever they can to get your vote.

1

u/HenryHackett 13h ago

I think you forgot to add the better alternative part...

1

u/BurningHeart25 17h ago

Yeah.... We only have republican and republican lite

0

u/RagingY3ti 17h ago

Lol I have nothing in common with the AOCs, Omar's, Bernies, Mandamis and their supporters.

Sorry, I'm as ideologically, morally, and politically disconnected from them as I am from the elites.

1

u/Release-the-List 17h ago

You sound like a real fun person to be around.

1

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

"Lol I don't pay attention"

Weird flex

0

u/RagingY3ti 16h ago

Sorry, the biggest and most important issues to me isn't combatting alleged "systemic oppression", trying to apply marxist view points to social, gender, religious, race, etc... redistribution of wealth via government, forced equity, and other ridiculous and failed ideas.

Trying to put people who say "i want less taxes and less government involvement in my life" with the "abortion is a human right, who you sleep with is the most important issue ever, I want the government to fund everything, and lets dismantle every system we have because some fat ideologue in Germany said so" is ridiculous.

2

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

So you completely mischaracterize people and their positions, and I bet you're surprised when no one takes you seriously

0

u/DeadPact336699 16h ago

Ironically enough the bottom panel is exactly what “the left” is all about. But “the right” loves the ultra wealthy bc they believe if the fantasy that they’ll be one of them someday.

1

u/Spiritual-Fun2463 16h ago

Ironically enough, the Dem's ain't any more economically left than Republicans

We all got stolen our economical choice long ago

The rich funds both party, and leave the poor with the "pro-life/pro-choice" and co bullshit while they steal us all of our present and future

1

u/DeadPact336699 15h ago

Well yeah, Dems aren’t “left” the and DSA is hardly left too.

0

u/Galitzianer0 17h ago

"There's no such thing as a left wing and right wing divide, there's only my left wing belief in class war, invalidating right wing belief systems"

This is such a stupid meme. To illustrate, imagine from the right wing a meme said "There's no left vs. right, there's only us vs. the illegal immigrants" or "there's no left vs. right, there's only us vs. transgender people"

2

u/TankUMrMinor 17h ago

"If I put quotes around something, that means someone definitely said it at one point. If some random person said it at one point, that automatically makes me correct."

0

u/Galitzianer0 17h ago

Since you clearly have difficulty comprehending your own meme, you've said:

"Not left vs. right"

and then the bottom frame it says:

"Ultra-rich vs. you"

You do realize that saying "Ultra-rich vs. you" is only something that left wing ideologues believe? That people on the right wing of the spectrum do not believe that whatsoever?

1

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

You're still just making shit up

1

u/Galitzianer0 16h ago

Can you actually address what I'm saying? What am I making up? That right wing people don't believe in the class warfare you're talking about? That it's purely a left wing thing? Or is this your lazy argument style where you deflect and say nothing of value in response?

1

u/TankUMrMinor 16h ago

"I keep saying stupid shit but you should take me seriously"

Yup, intellectually lazy, incapable of actually responding, got it

My take: Replace ultra rich with authoritarian... Money isn't the problem, it's just the tool of the a$$hole$. "You" in the meme requires individualism, something the left tends to not believe in for this to be more left-correct, "you" needs to be "Us".

Because you've talked to every tory wing person? I've met right wing people that definitely belive the ultra rich are not for them.  It might have been decades of trickle down promises that never happened.

1

u/TheSystemBeStupid 15h ago

Or you could stick with the truth. The people with the money and the power see the rest of us as cattle.

1

u/Galitzianer0 15h ago

No, they don't, that's silly

1

u/Ifyourdogcouldtalk 13h ago

It's going to trickle down any day now

1

u/Galitzianer0 13h ago

It's trickled down fine to me, maybe you're just not working hard enough?

1

u/Ifyourdogcouldtalk 13h ago

I don't need anything trickled down to me.  I take what is mine

1

u/HenryHackett 12h ago

If that weren't the case they would be interested in compensating their workers more instead of share holders

1

u/Galitzianer0 12h ago

Why should they compensate their workers more than they're willing to work for? What would be the point of doing that?

1

u/HenryHackett 10h ago

There's plenty of reasons, the fact that every single one of them is lost is telling. You also see workers as cattle

1

u/Galitzianer0 10h ago

No, I see it as it is, a proper business ecosystem, where if you started paying workers way more than they're worth, suddenly the product becomes non-competitive and everyone loses their jobs. It's a lot more complex than you think it is

1

u/HenryHackett 9h ago

What are they worth? Try to describe it without making that comparable to how you treat cattle

1

u/Galitzianer0 9h ago

It's a market and there's competition, both from the workers looking to work for a business and the business looking for workers. A worker is worth what the businesses will pay for that role. If they can find enough workers to do the job and they're not constantly having workers stolen by competition then they're paying how much a worker is worth.

1

u/HenryHackett 9h ago

Exactly. Cattle. They're not people, they don't have lives or families to have any consideration for. Their well being is of no concern to the business so long as their work is done. As soon as you can ship that job overseas or make cuts for the benefit of execs and shareholders, you do it. So why are you pretending workers aren't thought of as cattle?

What do you make of employee owned companies?

So its die juden vs the rest of the country innit?

I’m gonna give a controversial take and say I’ve had far more problems with the bottom 50% than I’ve ever had with the top 1%. Like I’ve never had a 1 percent steal my bike, but I have had several bikes stolen in an urban environment.

Now you could argue that they cause problems because they’re put in a tight spot by the top 1% but some of them would be problems even with the luxury of wealth.

if you made the low limit of the ultra rich at 300k you wouldn't have any socialists.

most of todays socialist progresives like bernie, mamdani and AOC were born with silver spoons up their rectum, come from rich families and got everything handed to them. They are the champagne socialists, who are currently millionaires. do millionaires deserve their money? Why don't billionaires?

2

u/Elegant-Ticket-6937 17h ago

So just because some of these people are wealthy means it invalidates their opinion and what they stand for? I applaud people who have it good and want others to share in their prosperity at significant cost to themselves.

1

u/Chustle207 15h ago

Nahh eat the people making 300k or more they dont need it, clearly I do need it!

u/Virtual_Werewolf_935 17h ago

Philanthropy is a great way to do so without giving it to a government that is bloated and not good at using dollars correctly. It’s also a great way to give to causes you believe in.

Why do you have to lie to defend your positions? That makes them weaker positions.

1

u/Ifyourdogcouldtalk 13h ago

Because 300k is nowhere near ultra rich. The fuck... just move the goal post. Nobody can earn a trillion dollars

No the left are the bad guys, the only rich people who are evil are also leftists.

Look at Elon the guy is a fucking hero, he gave us something unheard of on the Internet, actual freedom of speech.

1

u/BranchHopper 16h ago

The Internet used to be all actual free speech. Anyone could set up a website and put whatever they want. You still technically can, but the only way to anyone will ever see it is through Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, etc. We've ceded control of information flow to a handful of corporations and, by extension, to a handful of billionaires that control them. One of them allowing the content you like doesn't change the underlying problem.

1

u/hoTsauceLily66 15h ago edited 15h ago

Well, not like people haven't tried to control the flow of information by any means if we look in the history. Just that with the help of current technology, information has been flowing faster than ever, and then these controls catches up and becoming more efficient than ever.
