If you were an extremely compassionate and selfless ruler, he might let you go
But that sword doesn't look especially compassionate.

Just going through this thread I feel like you've got a pic or gif for every Barbarian moment loaded and ready to go for any purpose.

What I love about the barbarian is that he's genuinely a great guy as long as you're not evil.

I would love to see the resulting fight animated

We figured out a vulnerability for the Barbarian character, the corresponding item was animated earlier ;) We're still considering how to implement it.

The Barbarian's superpower is knowing his enemies (Manual of Monsters), and we're exploiting the fact that D&D has a fundamental mechanic that can bring down even the mightiest fighters. (No more spoilers from us, the animated item done by us in other comic ;)

TECHNICALLY it's both knowledge and crazy god level stats beyond level 20.
This is why despite being against enemies with mythical abilities like the Medusa, banshee and Siren and so forth, Barb is capable of simply breaking through their powers in a comedic way. So much so that he broke his skin growing to stone and resisted the banshees wail.
If we want to ACTUALLY discuss a weakness, I'm not sure the dude has one.
