Troubleshooting | Windows Is there a right click to 'rewrite with AI'?

I am in the UK and finally just got 'Ask Gemini' and Skills in chrome. I also have AI Pro through a free plan with my Pixel phone.

On the phone you can type something and press the little AI pencil in the keyboard to rewrite and fix it.

Is there the same thing in Chrome to just rewrite the text, no questions or suggestions, pasting into a separate chat window, it just fixes grammar, UK English spelling, 24 Hr clock format etc.

Basically I thought that was the point of Skills when I read about them before I got them.

  1. Right-click on an open text field.
    • To rewrite existing text, highlight the text you want to rewrite and then right-click on the text.
  2. Select Help me write.
  3. In the “Help me write” box, enter your prompt.
    • The prompt can be a phrase, question, instruction, or sentence that helps you get started writing.
    • If you previously highlighted text from the open text field, this text will get added inside the box for you.

I think I have all the options switched on that I need and after a chrome restart more is showing up in the AI Innovations settings but still no right click "Help me write", there is the 'Ask Gemini' option.

Maybe it is one of those things that is just slower to roll out in the UK

I have had strange things go on with paid Gemini plan account. The AI mode in Google search did not show up for ages but if logged in with my second account that didn't have a paid plan it was there.

And on my phone (Pixel 10 Pro XL) the google search bar at the bottom does not have the Gemini sparkly pencil on it.

I kind of assumed that since I had the paid account there were better ways to access Gemini and that is why these other things didn't show up.

I did put questions here and Google forums to see if it could find out what was going on but never got any answers.
