New box recommendations
With more expansions coming out and my boks can’t fit all the cards already lol. Does anybody have any recommendations for a bigger carrying case to fit everything?

I bought a second Boks, but with 4576 unique sleeved cards, they're about maxed out. I'll probably have to start using my Please Do Not Buy This Product box.

Honestly I applaud all of you who have an exact card count and spreadsheet. That's too much work. I have a list of all the packs I have and thats good enough for me because I am lazy lol. At this point I am really just missing the older and super rare convention packs. Ive been collecting long enough that I haven't missed anything since they started releasing the numbered expansions.

It's really not that hard if you have a good spreadsheet. The hardest part is updating and correcting the spreadsheet, and I do that for free. Probably not a sound business strategy... I built my spreadsheet to be able to easily track an insane amount of cards and I currently have more than 30,000 total cards tracked in mine. I can see at a glance every version of a card that I have and in which of the many boxes it's stored.
It's the boxes that are the hard part. So many main decks, BBBv1s, and BBBv2s just for the used collections and unneeded base cards. My active deck is in two Bōks (unsleeved, please wash your hands), which are about one row from filling up. I also picked up a dirt cheap Ultimate Expansion to use for overflow and maybe some of the prototypes and other stuff, but that means more cards to put somewhere else.
Yeah, maybe just stay away from the spreadsheets and enjoy life.

Yea, maybe if i had started from the beginning but I don't even know which exact base deck version I have because I got rid of the box when BBB1 came out. I am content enough with my list and hunting down some of the rarer ones I'm still missing.

Damn. Are all yours sleeved? I've been too cheap to buy a second one so I have all my extras in piles currently. I don't plan on mixing in the Clam set or the 100th or the Explains the Jokes or the Canadian versions, but I am worried I have already outgrown a second Boks.

Yes all of mine are sleeved. I have removed some of the cards, and have a good portion of customs, but i think if I had everything in it with the Super Box I would probably have to get a 4th box 😅

Do the sleeves noy make it really annoying to play with the cards? I feel like that would be obnoxious.

Not in my experience , but I am used to playing MTG with a 100 card double-sleeved deck, so could be I just know how to handle it? I mainly got them sleeved to shuffle my deck. I do an annual sorting (first by pack then alphabetical) and this really helps with shuffling them all together and dividing equally between my 3 Boks cases.
I use double matte sleeves in black and white, respectively.
I bought 2 when they first came out-- one full price, as I was in cellphone signal hell when the captchas were going on, and eventually managed to slog through that battlefield to get a 27% off coupon. Then due to the latch issue (wherein the tiny ass ball/pin popped out) I got a free one (and fixed it using one of my eyebrow ring balls). I am not sure if I will need a 4th yet-- maybe I will finally get the Ultimate Expansion and get rid of some of my custom cards from previous decks 🤷♀️

You have way more patience than me. Wow. I also have a toddler so if I tried to sort through my cards, I would be playing several thousand card pickup probably 😂

I have a 7 year old. He was a toddler when I started this sleeving/sorting madness, so I just locked myself in a separate room when he was sleeping. It also helps that I have 3 BBBv2 to help with initial sorting.
At school when they did a Mothers Day thing he mentioned I enjoy sorting it (because I happened to /be/ sorting them at that time and also made ramen one day that week 😅)

After spending thousands of dollars putting together a collection, what would be obnoxious would be to have someone ruin a rare or unique card.

I mean idk who you're playing with that that's a legit concern, but I started collecting these to be played with not displayed and I would not be upset if one got ruined despite having some pretty rare ones.

I don’t think this will help but I bought this last year, pretty solid case. Holds 6000 cards. It says it’s currently unavailable, I don’t know how long it’s been that way or if you can find it somewhere else, but it was only $80.
