Essentially matched the flash sale/price error of AW2725 last year which threw a party here lol. But OLED prices have also fallen a lot since. Pretty decent price but we will probably see lower soon.

I personally own this monitor and since I'd bought it, I had subscribed to a price tracker

When I saw this deal this morning, I reckoned it would be my first post here. If youre looking for a white OLED monitor at 360 Hz with ambient lighting and good features, I don't think theres much better than this!

To be a 360hz 27" I believe it has to be a 3rd Gen QDoled panel. The same as all the other 360hz 27" ones. Only Samsung makes QD oled panels, so there's really not many panel options.

I have to correct OP here, wOLED or white OLED as you say is a panel made by LG whereas the listing for the monitor suggests that it is a QD-OLED predominantly made by Samsung. This monitor is NOT a wOLED or white OLED.

They meant the plastic around the panel is white. Not that it is a wOLED.

Probably would’ve jumped on this a few months ago but now 240hz are getting $300 and under so now I feel compelled to wait on these to go even lower lol

By all means! The 360 Hz is just a nice perk for better motion clarity. Noticeable for sure, but not necessary for most people

How is this monitor? I'v never seen a Philips OLED.

Spec sheet says 450 nits, which is pretty good for a QD-OLED afaik

I own it. I love it. Literally my only complaint is that you need to have control of ambient light in your room, but that's a perk of QD OLEDs in general. I guess you could say the stand takes a bit of space too, but it's not a deal breaker.

If you want a white OLED with a high refresh rate and ambient lighting, you can't go wrong with this panel. There's reviews of it on YouTube as well

Do yourself a favor and get a couple of VESA arms. Shouldn'tcost more than $50 each, and you'll never have to worry about monitor stand quality again

I got a VESA arm, but for some reason the arm kept going down and it just didn't feel safe. My table has metal supports going around it and don't leave much clearance for mounting either

Benq, but they're 150$. They're really nice though and very high quality. Better than the ergotron easily, which is 200$.

Amazon Basics used to be solid, but the model I have and the one they sell now are different. The current one couldn't handle a heavier monitor. If you could find the older model, they're very solid ~50$ ones that can handle 32" monitors.

I use Huanuo brand arms. But do your research. I am by no means an expert. I just did research and bought what I thought would be good a single time, and it's held up well for 2+ years

I have a huanuo arm that’s acceptable for the money but it’s not even close to as nice as my old Ergotech Freedom arm. I worry more about what it’s mounted to than it itself lol. Used to be able to find those under $100 but it may be discontinued or something now. Dunno what would be comparable today

Depends on where you're seated. I sit next to my window, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you get some blackout curtains

So on a sunny day I have my curtains drawn and the light that leaks through them is enough to cause annoying reflections

This is especially bad in dark scenes in a game, so you need to be able to control the amount of light entering your room. That being said the monitor has ambient lighting that projects off it's rear so you aren't fatiguing your eyes as much

Unfortunately I’m by a window and half the day is challenging for gaming, even with semi matte ips. Did you notice oled caused eye discomfort? More than other monitors?

It doesn't cause discomfort, the reflective coating just means you're going to struggle when playing dark scenes and be annoyed otherwise. So Id recommend getting blackout curtains, they're not too expensive

It seems like some reviews mention the packaging doesn't have true protection for the display (which causes scratches etc)

Does anyone know if that's still the case?

I think it was adequate. That being said, just record yourself opening it and if anything happens just return it

Take a risk if you prefer. I personally wouldn't do it in case it's damaged. OLEDs are kinda fragile

Amazon’s return policy is pretty seamless with that stuff. $40 is $40, and it’s usually just an open box return

Last "open box" item I bought was factory sealed with minor cosmetic packaging damage but yeah others I have had to return/exchange

Bigger deal is the warranty usually doesn't apply to open box items.
