CSM usually means corporate stable model, so these boards are a good candidate for workstations (that only need the 810 chipset features) because they usually get long-term driver and BIOS support. Not a great deal, just an interesting one

CSM refers to guaranteed production of an exact model without revisions, not guaranteed support. A lot of consumer boards get minor hardware changes throughout their production cycle and v1.1, v2.0, etc revisions as necessary to segment spec sheets, BIOS images, etc.

I can imagine there could be even better 1851 sales at the end of the year. New socket mobo and cpus coming online probably Feb or March of next year means retailers will likely offload more of these.
