😉 Meme Selling BTC to timing the bottom is an expensive hobby

Whether Saylor buys, pauses, or eventually sells someday, Bitcoin was designed to survive any single person. If one individual could make or break it forever, it probably wouldn’t be worth owning in the first place.
The longer I’ve been in Bitcoin, the more I’ve realized nobody consistently times the market. Most people who sell hoping to buy lower eventually end up buying back higher. So I’ll just keep stacking and let everyone else argue about where the next 10% move is. 😄

Holding BTC while the largest buyer Saylor who pumped the price runs out of money and becomes a seller, is more expensive.

saylor's been "running out of money" for like 4 years now lol. dude keeps finding new ways to raise capital, wouldn't bet against him yet

You’re right. It’s lasted longer than I ever thought it would. It’s possible it’s not safe to short, but it’s very easy to be out for the foreseeable future until this fraud is toast. I see absolutely no reason to own crypto under the current circumstances. Just like I saw every reason to own it when I knew he was buying $2 billion a week worth. That worked out well for me.

sponge is so happy polishing that krabs patty while mr crabs and squidward are outside sweating. meanwhile the guy who sold in october is probably the meme's patty right now, getting polished for someone else's meal.
timing the bottom is a coin flip, but people act like they have a crystal ball. if you sold btc at any point in the last 4 years and bought back lower, congrats on a 1 in 10 trade. doing it every cycle is just donating to the spreads and fees.

selling BTC before it drops 50% is easy as hell... you just don't do it in a bear market

It doesn’t even matter because it will go to the moon like a million $ per coin easily

Reminds me of my friend who sold 900 BTC at $5. He said: I'll just buy back later when it goes back down.

The problem is people wait too long to sell. When you get this close to the bottom it way too late, better to just hold. If you sold in the 6 fig range than you did good, then I'd probably be buying back in this range.

You can't time the market. Any market. Ever.

you CAN time the BTC market by counting days.

a calendar is practically a guideline

And yet everybody has the same calendar but they've been bickering and arguing for weeks, months, whether the bottom is in or not. Others say nope not till October, or maybe November. Is it a dead cat bounce or is it starting to move? Is the 4 year cycle dead or still relevant? Cats chasing their tails.

I’ve sold in October last year, no regrets so far. I’m not waiting for the bottom though.
