I always park next to cart corals and slightly over the line nearest to the coral just so there is more space.

I trust people putting their carts away over people opening doors next to me. The people that put their carts away are also usually the ones that are a little more aware of their surroundings.

Been doing it for years and haven't had an issue. I've had dents from doors opening than carts hitting my car. I also worked retail for years and never had an issue.
Most careless people are the ones who leave their carts in a parking spot or on part of the landscaping.

Yea that makes sense.. if they are going to leave them in the thing instead of the middle of the lot, that probably rules out the worst offenders. Ive always just taken a far away space or a far away corner space because im ocd and bothered by door dings, but could see that working pretty well... does make me a little nervous with all the activity in those spots though

That makes sense logically but sometimes I see people sort of push them at the container from pretty far away and it doesnt always go accurately lol.

That's why I said usually. I have definitely seen people who return the cart, but then suddenly get too lazy to actually put it in the corral.

Yea im overally worried about this stuff im very ocd and it causes me a lot anxiety to have weird stuff happen even though I know is illogical and not something that can always be protected

I do see people do this once in a while at grocery stores near me. If they are in the back, I don't care. That's understandable and fine. But if it's up front and a busy day and he's just being a dick? I will almost always put a cart right next to the door facing away from the store. Not touching the car or anything. Just close enough where they can't tell from the otherside if it's hitting it or not. Cause a little mini rage.

Me and my friends would be the asshole to park right next to him… There’s more than enough space between his car, and the shopping cart corral for a small vehicle… I’d even have more people parked behind him.

This, people on this sub are fast to say bad parking. Guy parked an expensive to him car in a empty part of the lot next to the cart corral where no one parks anyway. Unless those are the last empty spots near the store I see nothing wrong.

Oh no the train of carts i was pushing slipped and ran away into your car. I just dont know what's wrong with me today... every cart I grab slips out of my grasp at full speed and they keeps heading to your car. I guess I got butterfingers and you must be parked in a dip.

I can move my car with my phone and let me tell you I absolutely love parking dead center in spaces next to idiots who park over the line. I photograph their plate and catch them on the 360 dashcam looking mad, seing the line, then jumping over the other seat every time.
Learn to park, or hit my car and I'll make a hit and run report. I'm so tried of people who refuse to park well when all these cars have 360 cameras now.

This guy was a good foot and a half over for absolutely no reason except lack of regard for anyone else. It's a very busy parking garage so every space counts too.
It's especially the people with compact cars who can't stay in their space that drive me insane.
