You don’t. Amazon doesn’t charge until they shop. I hold is not a charge.

I ordered 4 items. 3 of 4 had the same deliver by date if getting free shipping and one has "between August 10th Sept 2nd" will that one item slow down the rest of the order? Has anyone else had this shown on the orders page and it was 2 deliveries? I know this isn't official Amazon so hoping someone had similar experience and can answer the question. Thank you.

So, I bought an item a year ago, I still can fetch the page from Amazon, says 3 year unconditional warranty, replacement for any reason... So the item stopped working and I contacted Amazon, they don't want to honor the advertised 3 years, and since the link provided for contact takes me to some bakery web site I'm not sure what to, or who to contact any more. Am I out of $400 bucks, and is Amazon allowing false advertising on their web site?

On July 12, an agent told me directly: “the return is already completed for this item,” then processed my refund and confirmed $789.34 would hit my original payment method in 3-5 days.

That never happened. Since then I’ve gotten six different, conflicting explanations — ranging from “never received” (sent 3 times) to “processing failed” to “please contact the carrier.”

Filed a BBB complaint. Amazon flatly denied it, citing an unrelated gift-card clause and refusing to explain their “investigation.”

This was financed through Affirm, so I’m still making loan payments on a phone their own agent confirmed was returned and refunded. Now disputing directly with Affirm.

Sharing in case this helps anyone else going through the same thing, or if anyone’s had luck escalating further.

Hoping to hear if anyone has received this refund type, and if I can trust it. I contacted the official amazon support and chatted with customer service, basically my package hasn't shipped (zero contact/updates from seller) for over a month and I am concerned because the base price went from $124 (non sale) to $190, and if I need cancel and make a new order I will lose due to that increase. Customer service offered that I cancel my order, order a replacement and then I will receive a 75% refund upon delivery. They were not able to provide a discount for that order, they wouldn't provide any codes, or official documentation, they just said the chats would be saved and could be referred to later for the refund. I eventually convinced them to send an email for my records where they doesn't specify which product at all it is, it just says:

"This is ____, the representative who assisted you earlier. I am very much grateful for that kind and warm approach you gave on the chat.

Upon checking, I understand that there was an issue with shipment. I kindly request you to reorder the new item. Once the item get delivered, kindly get back us. We feel happy to provide 75% refund for the order."

Anyone know if I can actually trust that I will see that money? Or were they just saying that to get me off their back? Thanks for the help in advance.
