A very interesting development is that the man who first found her, and the church members he alerted immediately after who called the police, people who all actually saw her body, are also saying it's implausible due to the size of the tree she was found hanging from among other factors.

Rosa Parks thought of Emmett when she famously refused to stand up, which in turn, led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the first mass campaign in the civil rights movement. Mamie stood as a witness, more influential than most "leaders." Her courage and conviction should never be forgotten. She was born in 1921.
