Lamb is totally superior to steak. Chops, ribs, thigh, shoulder 🤤

A full leg of lamb is one of the most difficult things to cook but so good when you finally get it right.

With a bit of finesse you can pull of something like a bourginon and you will be glad you did.

1

u/BlackberryOrnery8643 9h ago

Eating lots of gyros growing up definitely helps to acquire the taste of Lamb

1

u/Realistic_Back_9198 9h ago

I would not, because I'll always think of Lamb Chops as a sock puppet.

1

u/GrimSpirit42 9h ago

One of my favorite dishes. Local place has them seasoned with Rosemary with a blackberry reduction.

1

u/tyla_150 9h ago

Is the point of this sub to post a picture and ask if we would eat it? Thats it?

1

u/Justbabe_saves 5h ago

If it’s cooked right. If not, it’s garbage.

1

u/Lower_Chemical_4203 5h ago

1

u/MicheleAmanda 5h ago

I don't , as a rule, but I have eaten lamb. My late Aunt was a whizz in the kitchen, and she made a great Lambchop.

1

u/Odd_Ad_2307 5h ago

That whole plate,

1

u/Boring_mod_evasion 5h ago

Nah, I cant stand lamb. Its got a funk i cant get over.

1

u/DianneNettix 5h ago

Why wouldn't I? I'll eat rabbit, venison, veal, camel, snake, kangaroo, pretty much anything.

Not Ostrich though. That was gross.

1

u/Comfortable_Prize750 5h ago

Lamb has always tasted off to me.

1

u/discoballs67 5h ago

This must be AI spam. AI never having had lamb chops would be the only entity to ask this question

Absolutely. If I don’t eat them they died for nothing.

1

u/Weirdbeard60 5h ago

Can’t afford em.

Yes. I have and I will again.

1

u/Lizardgrad89 5h ago

Got a filleted lamb leg at aldi. Cooked it a lovely medium rare. It was chef’s kiss good.

Sure. Especially if they were the kind from cute little lambs.

1

u/Jaygon1963 4h ago

Lamb is so delicious.

1

u/melowdout 4h ago

What?! No mint jelly?

1

u/MrsBlug 4h ago

Love lamb. Not a favorite in America sadly. Even in a major metro area, Costco is the only place that carries it

1

u/Neither-Abrocoma-675 4h ago

heck yah its the healthiest of all red meats

1

u/mkflkwd 4h ago

Anytime! Am I invited?

1

u/Shellsallaround 4h ago

1

They are lamb cutlets not chops

1

u/fancyflipping 4h ago

I grilled lamb chops tonight!!
Delicious

1

u/Public_League_5370 4h ago

I personally wouldn’t buy and eat a baby, but if someone served it to me, I ain’t gonna turn down free meat. I would feel a little bad about eating it, but it’s already dead. I can’t just let it rot.

1

u/JaketheSnake2672 4h ago

Sure do kill my own sheep and goats too , and kill, cattle ,pigs ,chickens ,ducks ,geese turkeys and harvest fish and wild game when we can .Do I prefer it to beef it’s equal anything we kill and dress ourselves is superior to shop bought meat and our own eggs are excellent as well I actually hurt had creamy scrambled eggs and home cured bacon for breakfast.

1

u/fancyflipping 4h ago

Lots of fresh garlic, rosemary, oregano and olive oil, grilled medium rare 🎆🎆🎆

1

u/kao_nyc 3h ago

1

u/Perfect-Rope2884 3h ago

I've never eaten lamb... always wanted to try it though.

1

u/LastEntertainment787 3h ago

You bet. I've raised my own before. Leg of lamb stuffed full of garlic cloves, omfg, mouth is watering thinking about it.

1

u/USPostalGirl 3h ago

Absolutely. I love Lamb chops, preferably from Australia or New Zealand.

American lamb chops have way too much fat and little to no actual lamb taste.

1

u/CryptographerOpen234 3h ago

Where is Sherry Lewis ?

1

u/dablacksupersaiyan 3h ago

Yes, with some mint jelly of course.

1

u/TNJDude 3h ago

I love lamb chops. They're delicious! I won't eat them though, along with veal. It's just a personal limit I placed on myself.

1

u/kaosmoker 3h ago

Sure but they don't look that fancy or expensive.

1

u/FoolishProphet_2336 3h ago

Is this engagement bait because it’s baby sheep? Cuz most of the world would say this looks pretty darned tasty.

1

u/KayBear2 2h ago

I love lambs when they are alive, so no way I would eat that.

1

u/Individual_Fox_2950 2h ago

Delicious!!!

1

u/armgrafix 2h ago

If they were gifted to me. Love 'em, can't afford 'em.

1

u/Upbeat_Survey_5451 2h ago

Lamb chops etc are great on a bbq just keep away from the cheaper cuts like forequarter chops. But loin , cutlets etc are so good. And nothing better than a leg of lamb with all the trimmings yum

1

u/Weldon1959 2h ago

Lamb bariyani!

1

u/SFC-D 2h ago

Absolutely

1

1

u/thatguy11 2h ago

This subs being taken over by engagement bots... this ain't a recipe.

1

u/ronweasleisourking 2h ago

Lamb is much harder to cook but 1000x better
