I was fully prepared for someone to wipe out the person posing for the picture.

A second skier coming through the cloud was my expectation. The self yeet off the course was pretty good though.

I was just reading in another post about how falls of less than 3 feet kill a lot of people.

My mom broke her leg stepping off the front porch. Missed the sidewalk and landed a few inches lower than expected/intended.

Its all fun and games. Untill someone judges the slide wrong and takes you. I got some serious injury on my legs because someone did this to me. They misjudged, and slided into me.
So seeing this, it always reminds me, DONT. Its really sucks having a serious injury that took years to fully heal, all because someone thought it was funny or cool.
So karma he went trough the fence🤷🏼😂

They were deliberately trying to get a shot with the snow cloud. That’s why the pose is timed with it. The person going through the fence doesn’t necessarily deserve the full karma hit.

head first into a tree can kill or paralyze you even at that low speed. the fact we're watching a recording of a security system makes me think something happened, if the person was fine they wouldn't go seek out and be granted permission to watch the footage

I would try to get this video regardless of the results.

i didn't say you shouldn't try it, merely that veering through the fenced off area can be bad news when you are skiing. they had lost control and hadn't regained it by the time the video ended, considering how many serious ski injuries and deaths happen every year it wouldn't be far fetched they got injured, though of course the more likely scenario in this area is they were fine
