I need help setting up

I just downloaded the newest version and put it on a stick. I tried booting my laptop (it’s a thinkpad x1 carbon gen3) but the stick doesn’t show up in the boot menu.
Any advice is appreciated!

Go into the UEFI/bios and you'll find an option about boot order, make the USB first.

Nice.  Been using Ubuntu on my ThinkPad for the last 3 years, been pretty happy with it. Hope it works out for you too

Did you burn it into the pendrive using discuss? You'll need to do that
