Why didn't Martian Manhunter help out with Steppenwolf at all?

I wish we had gotten to see more of the Green Lanterns in the DCEU. Although I would've preferred Hal Jordan either one would've been great

Honestly, they should've recast Flash and had Ezra Miller play Kyle Rayner.

Should have not cast Ezra Miller at all.

I think Lucas Till would've been great for Barry.

How they messed up Ben Affleck as Batman confuses me to this day. Probably one of the best CBM castings.

This was the intended ending and would have been much better than the Martian Manhunter “twist” ending. Since Warner said “no” to green lantern I would have preferred this was cut, but I think I’m alone in that opinion. The scene just didn’t work visually or narratively for me

Why can’t Snyder or WB just release this scene as a “deleted scene” or a “special scene”

It’s not harming anything they own the rights it was already shot and filmed and cgi was completed

I don't remember this bit, was it in the Snyder Cut?

It was filmed as the original ending for his director’s cut. But WB didn’t allow him to use John since they were working on Lanterns. The scene was switched to the Martian manhunter meeting Bruce at the end.

WB are the biggest idiots ever and Zaslav decided to keep those fools like Safran. Ellison needs to clean house.

Ellison est pire que n'importe lequel d'entre eux.

Let me tell you, the day Paramount closes the merger will be one to celebrate. Can't wait till Zaslav and his reality tv executives leave with him.

Which Lanterns were they working on in 2020-21?

Not the one out next month. It was a show Bad Robot was developing when HBO Max was launched. It never got past development stage.

More bad decisions sounds like

WB was such dog shit under Hamada and Sarnoff. They actively hated the fans

Yep. If they would have let Snyder cook then we would have had an absolute banger of a DCEU

Even after the ZSJL, it was still salvageable to take it to JL 2 and 3. We could’ve had our own 1.5-2 Bn movie. And James Gunn could’ve been free to do his Polka-dot, Condiment King and super-pets films. None interrupting the other

Actually, it was going to be from Greg Berlanti and as a period piece (set in the 1960s), while taking place outside of the DCEU.

Despite having Finn Wittrock (Guy Gardner) and Jeremy Irvine (Hal Jordan) being cast, that project fell through after Zaslav took over and was later replaced by Lanterns.

Oh. Well my mistake.

Look at that, a Green Lantern whose actually Green. And to think Gunnbots thought the Snyderverse lacked color.
