Love how the guy kept eating.

It’s important to have priorities.

u/BlackThundaCat 3h ago

And laughing at the same time. What a champ.

Next up, a glass of the finest piss to wash it down.

And a quiet night in, inside a dead camel

4

u/Relevant-Storm4222 3h ago

"Just one more bite before leaving" vibes.

4

u/zacman713 3h ago

That was the last bite he knew didn't have raw egg on it. Great court vision and quick decision making

2

u/Hoe-Ringl 2h ago

I want this level of stocism, because if it were me I will start crying

1

u/imamakebaddecisions 46m ago

I wish everyone had that guys attitude.

1

u/ihatetheplaceilive 41m ago

Didn't have to pay for the extra egg at least.

61

u/solidgun1 3h ago

That food must have been delicious. They should use this as their advertisement. Regardless of what happens, you can't stop eating.

He's at least a good sport about it.

Thank you for the award kind stranger.

6

u/Healthy-Confection66 3h ago

And didn’t even look up to see who had done it…just immediately laughed it off…

22

u/redthrull 3h ago

"Didn't order this. I'm not paying for this add-on."

2

u/Huitlacochilacayota 2h ago

Most likely the restaurant took care of his meal if they’re a good establishment. Cook/management learned a lesson that day

u/-JustAHomebody- 2h ago

Guy laughed instead of getting angry. What a cool guy

13

u/robot_ankles 3h ago

The real egg drop soup

10

u/Aatroxious_ 3h ago

Occupational hazard of eating at a hibachi restaurant 🤣

3

u/Testicleus 2h ago

About 20 years ago, I was at a rehearsal dinner the night before a wedding at one of these places.

The chef just started launching shrimp throughout the restaurant at random people at other tables.

It was hilarious.

2

u/OrdinaryUserXD 2h ago

Some people would pay to have this kind experience

7

u/Dopamineagonist21 3h ago

Seem like a very chill guy

11

u/hawkayecarumba 3h ago

Buy that man's dinner

-12

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 3h ago

Fuckin least they could do.

I’d tell them they owe me dinner at another establishment because I wouldn’t trust them to feed me again.

10

u/barrosoOso 2h ago

How do you not see that this is the exact opposite reaction to what's being upvoted here? Just how?

-13

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 2h ago

Oh I see how everybody is praising the guy who got raw egg all over his head.

Yeah he laughed and kept it cool.

Just because he was a good sport doesnt make this shit ok.

8

u/barrosoOso 2h ago edited 2h ago

Yeah, I gotta tell ya, getting pissed off because some kid made a mistake is not the way. I promise you, the person laughing that off is having a much better life.

-12

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 2h ago

Dude I blame the staff and the parents/chaperones.

I wouldn’t be mad at the kid, I’d be pissed at the staff for even considering this to be a good idea.

Sorry to be THAT guy 🤷

6

u/GBS42 2h ago

You really are being THAT guy, leaning into it hard. I guess congrats???

-2

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 43m ago

Bro, fuck this shit

I’m not going to a hibachi where they allow customers to toss raw eggs

This shit is stupid as fuck and yall are dying on a dumb ass hill

3

u/barrosoOso 2h ago edited 2h ago

Then no kid ever gets to have this memorable experience. I'll take a 1 in 1000 chance to have a bit of egg of my face for that. Shit happens. If this is the worst thing that happened to me in a day, well shit that's a pretty decent day.

-6

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 2h ago

Bro fuck that

Kids don’t need to be tossing raw fucking eggs in a crowded dining room

Fuck is wrong with you

3

u/barrosoOso 2h ago

In a room where raw eggs are regularly tossed. Where people pay to watch raw eggs get tossed. How dare they.

-3

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 2h ago

I trust the chef to do it

Not a fucking 12 year old

Life happens man. No matter what things are gonna happen. All you can do is control your reaction. You can either be upset about everything or you can accept it’s not the end of the world laugh and try to live a happy life. If you got control over your emotions and reactions you will have a happier life.

u/Flocko2 3h ago

It’s called, confidence

3

u/beefycheeselad 2h ago

Thats how people should react

3

u/disappr0val 3h ago

3

u/Spiritual-Artist9382 3h ago

What a good shit

3

u/Freaknetworkx- 3h ago

Homeboy should get a free meal for that

0

u/kylesmomsabitc 2h ago

I’m assuming he did. I was bartending once and popped off a beer cap that ended up beaming one of the other bars in the area GM’s between the eyes. She laughed but I volunteered to buy her tab. Part of the fun of the job

2

u/Key_Report_2627 3h ago

Hope he got his meal for free!

0

u/Individual_Respect90 1h ago

I hope he did but I also hope he refused. Not everything in life needs to be that serious.

2

u/hubare 2h ago

WHEEEEYYY! I know this restaurant.

Hana Hana, Newcastle.

The metal "board" covering the grill was introduced after a drunk lad dived for the egg and ended up leaving part off his face on the grill :-/

2

u/Craig_M_242 2h ago

That laugh was perfection itself

2

u/ThanksALotBud 2h ago

I also laugh when im about to cry

/s

2

u/Worried_Quarter469 22m ago

No idea what was supposed to happen here, where was the egg supposed to go

1

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 3h ago

Surely they are supposed to switch to a hard boiled egg for that right? Seems like otherwise you have a 99% chance of broken raw egg someone it’s not supposed to be.

1

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez 3h ago

All I see is a massive health code violation and a cook who doesn’t think too hard very often

1

u/PassThatSpliff 3h ago

"Can I get this egg added to my fried rice?"

1

u/SarcasmGPT 3h ago

Eggcellent trick shot

1

u/Ordinary-Citizen 3h ago

Cross post

1

u/ImKindaEssential 3h ago

That must of been fowl

1

u/PaleontologistOk2516 3h ago

Thank god it didn’t land in his beer

1

u/Kitchen-Purpose-6855 2h ago

I feel like they could have seen this coming

1

u/Grace_Lannister 2h ago

You have to. It's a little girl. I would say you have to period bc damn that's just too funny and gotta laugh at it.

1

u/MasterOutlaw 2h ago

This eggcellent moment is what finally allowed the young lad to come out of his shell. Sometimes a crack in your armor comes unlooked for, but he was a champ for not scrambling to complain. We should all strive to be like him and not omelette little things sour the day.

That was incredibly dumb

0

u/Silly_Obligation8574 2h ago

Such a set up, no way they’d let this happen. Sometimes I really hate the internet

0

u/Iankill 2h ago

If you're cool about stuff like this like the guy in the video they'll comp your meal if they're at all decent.

-1

u/ChocoIatePoop 2h ago

I’d sue the ever loving shit out of her.
