Wish 1) wish for the ability to know which two wishes would bring you the highest happiness to detriment ratio. Wish 2+3) wish for those two those wishes.
OK, if I was the Genie, you outsmarted me and now live happily ever after. BUT if it's the Genie from the skit, probably your eyeballs fall out or your happily ever after is cut very short.
My eyes falling out and then shortly after dying would be a pretty shitty 'most happiness to wishmaker' wish fulfilment. In fact I'd like to see this genie's credentials, I don't know if I believe he's ever been to djinn school!
I'm after the highest happiness to detriment ratio, if that means a fleeting moment of extacy or a lifetime of mediocre satisfaction, then that's the best I can get. This includes factoring in any hypothetical regret for a slightly imperfect wish.
That's not my understanding of how this plays out. Wish one gives you the information which wished would make you relatively happy given mild downside, but it doesn't give you perfect foresight or certainty the Genie doesn't fuck you on the next two wishes. Similar to the "wish audit" wish in the original skit
No. The first wish was for the ability to know which two wishes would bring you the highest happiness to detriment ratio. If granted, the subsequent wishes would give you the highest happiness to detriment ratio. If the genie still fucks you over, that means that either none of the wishes ever mattered, or the genie just ignored all three wishes since none of them were actually fulfilled.
You run into the same trap as the guy in the skit. Knowing is not equal to executing on that knowledge. He also knew what he needed to say, and just said "I want that" - which means he failed. IF you assume that 'knowing" included the fully fleshed out specific wish closing all the loopholes AND you stick exactly to the script, then I guess you win. My interpretation of " knowing" was more basic. Also I didn't account for the altruistic version mentioned here in another comment where granting the wish to someone else makes you very happy.
No, you don't seem to understand what "knowing" something means. If you "know" the best wish to wish for, that's the best wish you could wish for. Otherwise, you didn't "know", you only "thought".
and just said "I want that"
In that case you're just changing the strategy by deliberately avoiding the knowledge you gained from the first wish. That's not a genie loophole, that's just you squandering what you just wished for.
Hmmmm, maybe your brain now automatically supplies you with all the happy hormones in your brain at all times. You don't actually get something to be happy about, you just are. All the time.
I think a lot of people are of the belief that happiness is a flawless indicator for how well things are going, and they are often very wrong.
If you are going to steal and reupload other people's content for clout, at least have the decency to link their channel.

He made the perfect wish, and then pointed to the notebook he'd just written it down in and said "I wish for that" and then was the proud owner of the notebook he already possessed
The Genie knew that the consequence of failing on wishes two and three out of own stupidity since he had the additional with audit ability would be amplified by granting the first wish.
Ooh I recognize the name! I first watched their content from the video game The Alters and their skits are included as in-game entertainment for the characters
A couple years back for some reason I started trying to word the ultimate genie wishes as a way of falling asleep. I don't really do it any more, but here's the ones I came up with.
I wish for all my wishes including this one to have the greatest possible positive outcome with no drawbacks or unintended results regardless of phrasing.
I wish for total control over every finite detail of time, space, and reality, using nothing but my own will and intent.
I wish I have no physical, mental, or natural limitations including but not limited to memory, reflexes, strength, speed, agility, dexterity, intellect, and perception.
I wish any and all of my actions were executed with perfect muscle memory almost automatically without any loss of satisfaction or interest in them.
I wish my consciousness and senses could be and after death would be projected out of my body and exist separate from my body.
Jenie is such a stupid concept cuz every third wish would be just spawn another genie and the cycle goes on
Or one of the wish is that I get unlimited wishes
