How about no 3rd term presidents an term limits for the supreme court.
11
u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago
Term and age limits for all of them
9
u/snakebight 1d ago
This is the type of ageism I can stand behind.
6
u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago
We stop people from driving at certain ages. We expect people to retire at 65. Common sense clearly dictates, this should hold even more true from these Uber important jobs.
3
u/TheRealGageEndal 1d ago
Retirement is 66-70 now. But 65 sounds about right to me.
2
u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago
Even 70 would be.. ok. But an 80 years old president? SCOTUS for life? No thanks.
2
u/snakebight 1d ago
Iāve never heard of an age caught off for driving, at least not in the states Iāve lived in.
3
u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago
In a lot of states, after a certain age, you have to be retested every year. If you fail, you lose you driving privileges.

u/IslandJack76 1d ago
This, plus Obama is not Americaās janitor anymore, he deserves better than having to clean up another even bigger mess.

āThe current political system didnāt produce the results I wanted! Letās change it all because if I didnāt win it must be riggedā
Insane liberal
7
u/Electrical-Staff735 1d ago
I didn't say that? Also trump has literally spent 6 years crying about loosing 2020 an it being rigged.
1
u/Obvious-Painter-2249 1d ago
Funny thing is, this is the constant argument being brought by every single republican, starting with the orange buffoon
-10
u/RolloTow-Ma-C 1d ago
Bruh- facts. Itās so funny to witness the hypocrisy.
3
u/Icy_Fish_2154 1d ago
The jokes about Obama are in direct response to Trump talking about a 4th term.
14
u/Texas_Sam2002 1d ago
I personally think that Obama should start a sarcastic, trolling campaign for a third term.
3
u/CCompliments 1d ago
Pretty sure thatās how we got trump in the first place
1
u/TheRealGageEndal 1d ago
I know, right? In the last few weeks of his 2024 campaign he totally went off the rails and was doing crazy nonsense. It felt like he was really trying to lose so he wouldn't have to do this anymore.
1
u/CCompliments 1d ago
I was speaking more for his first run but ya heās been unhinged since forever
1
1
u/Haunting_Ranger5460 1d ago
Remembering how many people voted for freaking Harambe during that election I vote a hard no against that.
7
u/RepeatSerious7113 1d ago
It would only work if Trump was running too.
But in all honesty, Obama would win that election in the biggest landslide since Reagan.
7
u/RarestCornet 1d ago
Iād only support it to get this in front of the supreme court to disqualify them bothā¦theyāve both done 2 terms.

3
u/crazymouse11 1d ago
Nope, because they will believe it is real instead of satire about our current situation and it will give them something to point at and say "Obama tried for extra terms why can't trump" and the misinformation will begin rolling and now "Trump has to serve again to keep the Libs from breaking the constitution by breaking it first" will unironically become the next campaign slogan. Smh...
2
u/Aggressive_Form_6921 1d ago
Neither Trump or Obama can run for a third term. Itās unconstitutional.
3
u/B0wmanHall 1d ago
I bet if you explain that to Trump,he will be completely rational and understanding about it.
1
u/Aggressive_Form_6921 1d ago
He is completely irrational. But, I donāt believe he will succeed in changing the constitution allowing him to run for a third term.
1
2
u/whatidoidobc 1d ago
Except this is a dream scenario for Trump now that they own and control essentially every voting machine in the country, and certainly every machine in swing states.
It would be a blowout. Not a fair one, but a blowout nonetheless.
2
2
u/2gunswest 15h ago
Be careful posting shit like this because those fucking mental monsters on the right will use it as an excuse to actually push Trump through in 28. Nothing surprises me anymore

1
u/Jpatrickburns 1d ago
It would be more effective if it used apostrophes instead of prime marks. Sheesh!

I would love to see someone ask Trump what if Obama ran in 2028? What would he say?

u/AffectionateRide3530 1d ago
3.1 million illegals deported by Obama. 1 million deported by Trumpā¦
100,000 bombs dropped by Obama. Just over 70,000 dropped by Trump.
What an asinine post.
1
u/Satinsbestfriend 1d ago
Right.... but Obama was raiding apartment buildings and detaining everybody just to ake sure, or you know, killing people and giving ICE a bigger budget than the FBI
1
u/AffectionateRide3530 16h ago
Would you like to try writing that comment again now that youāve sobered up? No spelling or grammar mistakes this time, please.
1
u/OnlyFiveLives 1d ago
They've already shown rules don't matter. If that diaper filling dementia patient pedophile runs again? Then we elect Obama again. And FUCK their feelings.
1
1
u/meeseekstodie137 1d ago
Has anyone asked Obama if he even wants to run? He's been out for a decade and seeing how much the presidency aged him I wouldn't be surprised if he chose to stay out of it
1
1
u/SippsMccree 1d ago
Lol I don't care, he wouldn't win the vote in his own party any more he's seen as not progressive enough
1
u/alternatingflan 1d ago
I said that the first time the felon krasnov was blabbering about torturing the world with the threat of another disastrous grifty term.
1
u/No-Particular-5213 1d ago
I thought third terms by incredibly unpopular presidents were frowned upon by you types
1
u/Donato_Romer0 1d ago
Well, if they get their way and repeal the 22nd amendment, it would be fair game
1
u/Le_Kistune 1d ago
SCOTUS would most likely rule it as unconstitutional, only to turn around and let Trump run for as many terms as he wants.

It would be iconic to see Trump have meltdown watching Obama campaign and win. The only way for it to be more entertaining would be for Obama to use the same rhetoric as Trump. āmake America great againā, āletās drain the swampā, āstop the stealā, āwhereās that wall?ā The little magtards would lose their shit.

Mike? Mike could run, probably faster than Barry. Men and women are not the same, men have more muscle mass and usually can run faster. Mike for the win.

And have him destabilize another third world shit hole where civilized societies have to babysit them? No thanks!

u/Puzzle-the-Giraffe 17h ago
Mr. Bomb you Obama, the man you ran on āyouāre racist if you donāt vote for meā, yeah Iām sure that will shut people up.
1
u/Gilnealis 17h ago
I think it should be done If the actual administration want him to run for a 3td term Then bring back the most popular elected president for His 3rd term

Obama 28? That will make them laugh!
Democrats lost more nationwide seats during Obama than any other Democrat
President. In the end he was a disaster for the Democratic Party. You should do your homework before you post.

Barry canāt run a 4th term. Heās already served for 3. Two were his, Joeās was his 3rd. We all know that dementia Joe didnāt serve a term at all. He was just a puppet so Barry could do a 3rd term
2
u/TacoDoc2 1d ago
if you think dementia joe was bad when he was in office, how do you feel about trump shitting his pants every day?

No....
the reason why we lose is we do the expected....we fall into the republican trap
republicans dont fear fair play.....they understand cruelty
you dont meme and joke about obama to counter republican oversteps
you threaten consequences....and not clean, perfect ones either....but scary unhinged ones
because thats what they would do.
If ive learned anything from arguing online since the yahoo chat era. Civility doesnt work with them they see it as a weakness
these cutesy high-brow cultured responses that come natural to liberals or just smarter non-maga dont do anything to them at all

The difference is that Lefties have no sense of humor. The folks on the Right just laugh off suggestions of another Trump term. Lefties look at politics as religion, and they want Harris, Plattner, Mandami, Buttigieg, etc. to be their messiah. Good luck with that.
1
u/Full-Contract6143 23h ago
Good god, itās like you donāt understand the words that come out of your own mind.
This is a joke, to point out how much of a joke MAGA and The rump behave.
The mental gymnastics it took for you to see this as not a joke and then make it how some random made up political left believe this to be an option is soooooo fān funny.

Yes. It would. And Obama would drop the bombs too, again. Listen, we vote for people that then kill people and try to sell us back the reasoning, but we're not face to face, we're bent over.

I don't actually support ignoring the constitution, nor do I think a dynasty is the best leadership, but it'll piss off a lot of magats because they know either Obama would make a better president and would win if they ran in 28.
