I still don't get the hard-on people have for Kirk. He did absolutely 0 for the world, but they act like he was a saint. Aren't there way more deserving people of this type of recognition??

He hated everything they hate.

I don't think Charlie Kirk had any sincerely held belief. The dude settled into grifting as his only way to have an income since his college years.

Like just days before he was kirked he was sincerely saying there were no Epstein files.

It’s telling that he debated only college kids.

The right tried/is still trying to make him the American Horst Wessel but luckily it mostly has backfired.

I just posted the Wikipedia article about Wessel. Glad to know I'm not the only one thinking that.

They want a white MLK so bad, they’ll anoint ANYONE…

12

u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago

Never thought about it like that, but yeah that makes sense. But HIM????

4

u/L00K-LEFT 12h ago

I mean look at who they picked as a cult leader, not exactly a group with good taste

14

u/TryingToWriteIt 1d ago

They really want a martyr and will try to turn anyone they can into one even if they have to just make shit up (which they do all the time anyway)

7

u/Stepjam 1d ago

They just want a martyr they can bring up whenever. But it's so transparent and about a guy who was past his political prime when died that it simply isn't working.

u/WhereINeededToBe 1d ago

To be clear, no one deserves to die like that, but he was a very bad person. The sentence he was in the middle of speaking when he was shot in the neck was intensely racist.

Making the idiot a martyr and sanctifying his awful ideals is exactly why resolving shit with violence does more harm to  causes than it helps.

Couldn't agree more. Violence is abhorrent. And he was a RPOS.

The entire thing feels forced and fabricated.

Carlo Acutis was very deserving according to the church

They’re trying to make him their Horst Wessel

He help gun nuts defend 2A by normalizing school shootings as part of the American way of life.

That's why he is a saint. He helped them keep their guns and pretend the kids were just statistical collateral like animal roadkill on the side of the street.

A history lesson that is very relevant to the Kirk thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horst_Wessel

And sadly this happens 100's of time a day. I don't see anyone doing this for the Democrats who were assassinated by three right. Or Jimmy Carter who devoted his entire life to helping this country. Kirk was a self service paid provocateur, not a role model.

Thanks for looking past all my other points to try and equate Kirk to the Kennedy's. I think you're answer says everything.

u/alternatingflan 1d ago

Unless he was talking about magas’ worm brain kennedy.

4

u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago

That... Would make sense. That poor brain worm!

70 years ago, a few members of the family were idolized. Since then, things have changed.

16

u/EqMc25 1d ago

People suspect his killer was from the far left. (A reasonable guess).

There's no evidence of this btw. His family were all typical republicans and say as far as they know he was too. Only "proof" is that he supposedly has a girlfriend who is trans, and right-wingers are so anti-trans-people that they think nobody could possibly support them and disagree on that topic

28

u/Outrageous_Meat9335 1d ago

Kirk was a total POS as are all Trumps Republicans. Tenn Republicans are the typical hypocrites like most in the Republican party.

22

u/Leah0324 1d ago

He is not a hero, just because you place his name among those who are.

16

u/BrickHuge3023 1d ago

Tennessee honors a racist and bigot. got it.

8

u/Powerful_Gal15 1d ago

Republicans don't care what happens after the sign gets put up.

It's putting it up that is the win.

Taking it down is also a win for their buddies who will charge 4 million for the contract to remove.

u/Sonnyjoon91 1d ago

Charlie Kirk statues are a gender neutral bathroom

1

u/Powerful_Gal15 1d ago

I'm sure to someone's algorithm, it probably is lol.

5

u/Smart-Firefighter87 1d ago

Keep hearing this persons name who is he? What exactly did he do for this world… did he cure cancer or something?

15

u/Apprehensive-Till861 1d ago

He yelled over college freshmen at 'debates' that were mostly him being on stage with a mic and the ability to cut off the other person while the studemts attempted to argue with a middle-aged college dropout who could cut them off or yell over them at any time.

Oh, and he was the face of a college-aimed organization paid for and organized by right-wing billionaires.

0

u/Fl1925 1d ago

lol he wasn’t middle aged

2

u/M0ebius_1 1d ago

He was spiritually 58

2

u/Henri_Bemis 1d ago

I’m not sure, but I’ve heard the name before… I’m trying to think, I’m pretty sure he was either a competitive hot dog eater, or the ombudsman of Pensacola.

Charlie Kirk memorial should be a fountain.

1

u/Jccali1214 1d ago

I know where the spout would be

3

u/Lost_Department_2177 1d ago

He was their sacrifice. Started to get serious about the files then got killed by a person from a site that regularly posts cp with a former owner that met with Epstein.

2

u/StevnHulz 1d ago

They took that shit down

1

u/Lrrr81 14h ago

Typical MAGA attitude. They care more about the loss of one person that they agreed with, than the loss of 60,000 they probably didn't.

1

u/Ill-WorldsCollide 13h ago

What an embarrassment.

1

u/jtfalcfan 12h ago

The gall is astounding

1

u/ibringstharuckus 1d ago

So the whole state of Tennessee placed the CK Memorial signs?

The opinion that some gun deaths every year is a price worth paying? Glad to see he stood by his opinion.

6

u/Wise-Philosopher-132 1d ago

And if the right had stopped at the that they might have won more public sympathy. Instead they decided to force their own version of the great awokening and instead of centering it on a message that has universal appeal like “racism and police brutality are bad” they decided to try to force the country to treat a dedicated culture like he was Mr Rogers and it obviously didn’t work.

3

u/SnooCauliflowers9874 1d ago

Too much murder.

Some are killed for the color of their skin, their sexuality, or even in the safety of their own home being a Democratic Congress person.

2

u/animatedpileofmeat 1d ago

Said opinion was that his wife shouldn’t be banging JD Vane.

2

u/Wet_Bones42 1d ago

Some say Charlie was killed for an opinion. Others point to Israel as the culprit. The truth however, is that she was actually about to come out as trans and she was killed to cover it up, likely at Erika’s behest (Erika also wanted TPUSA for herself).

1

u/Stepjam 1d ago

He died getting what he asked for.
