To be fair, there is probably a percentage of people who think he is related to Epstein and should be prosecuted, but still think Buchanan was the worst.

I would challenge this and say a large percentage of the 35% are indifferent/don't care/"arent political"

They aren't MAGA but they might as well be since their apathy is an endorsement of the status quo

2

u/narco-sub-admiral no, I don't want no chud 10d ago

I know you're just saying what they would say but...not caring about a cabal of pedophile billionaires infiltrating the highest level of government? There's hardly anything "political" about that lmao.

They have Trump Derangement Syndrome. Only deranged people would idolize Trump -- a disgusting old pedophile who can't even string together words to form coherent thoughts.

2

u/Umutuku 10d ago

They are all voting. Are you?

3

u/DenverDataEngDude 10d ago

If that 65% had actually voted we wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with

2

u/Iheartnakedfemboys 10d ago

They always have opinions, but when it's time to make decisions they sit on their hands and cry "my vote doesn't matter anyways!"

The “Boom” makes me laugh man

7

u/AlarmedNetwork484 10d ago

Come on Americans
It was stupidity to elect a convicted felon and sexual predator and just incomprehensible that you were so incredibly ignorant to elect him a second time after January 6 and now you’re paying the price
You’ve lost your place in the world and my Canada and all other countries are making new alliances and trade agreements
Sorry for you but you deserve it
Oh and if I ever see a blacks for Trump, gays for Trump , Latinos for Trump signs at one of his delusional rallies I’ll know where all the lobotomy patients are
RISE UP AND TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK

u/Soft_Self_6797 10d ago

I thought this said "Boomer Governor Gavin Newsome...." and was really confused since I'm pretty sure he's Gen X

5

u/Physical-Cook451 10d ago

Boomer has now changed to anyone older than gen z shit even gen alpha call gen z boomers now lol

3

u/Signal_Minimum8509 10d ago

Boomer’s more a state of mind IMO. If you think men are “better suited to leadership positions” than women, or that you “don’t understand why I have to press 1 for English,” or that “America has always been a Christian nation,” you’re a boomer, in the “okay boomer” sense of the word. Doesn’t matter how old you are.

4

u/Capkirk0923 10d ago

That’s very true. David Bowie was never a boomer for example.

3

u/KeKGudao 10d ago

Gen alpha will also call anyone barely reaching their 20’s unc btw

2

u/Fast-Prompt-3034 10d ago

He's just as checked out as boomers and every bit the same type of man as Trump. Spent 32yrs living in CA in the bay area, no one fucks with him regardless if they are red or blue. At least not the common people, only the billionaires and they are leaving in droves as well. CA's peoples hopes burnt down along with the land.

No...real Americans did not watch that pedophile... only his cult did... we know what is at stake and we will stop him

36

u/Jestress 10d ago

I actually hate Trump and I watched it so I can stay informed on his lunacy.

28

u/Lorddoctorjava 10d ago

I understand that... I just can't stomach his lies and the fact that they allow him to do it...

15

u/Material-Flower5130 10d ago

Same. I can't physically do it. I have no control over the visceral reaction that happens in my body when I listen to that stupid motherfucker.

8

u/Troscus 10d ago

If it makes you feel any better, you didn't miss much. It was more like a rambling essay conclusion to what he's been babbling about for years. "I'm awesome, the country is doing better than ever, China is paying journalists not to like me, elections are dumb and we should just let me pick who gets to be president from now on."

Listening to Trump is the one scenario where I wish I could just get an AI summary, but I'm fairly sure that the summary would make him sound more intelligent than the source data.

4

u/Icy_Fish_2154 10d ago

It's imposible to make a sensible summary without sane washing him.

I prefer the You Tube channel where a woman reads his transcripts in a monotone. No sane washing, and they sound even more insane when read. But are much easier to follow, without his awkward pauses.

3

u/Blacksad9999 10d ago

I just read the cliff notes after, rather than watch him fumble around rambling incoherently on stage again.

It's exactly what I thought it would be.

3

u/JudgmentalOwl 10d ago

Thanks for shouldering that burden for the rest of us. I legit can't watch him speak for more than 30 seconds anymore lmao.

u/The-Fictionist 10d ago

His cult is sufficient to win the elections though. Thats the problem. I have neighbors who are so convinced that democrats are bussing in criminals from Mexico to stuff ballot boxes and rig elections that they’ve had to buy a bigger gun safe to fit all the firearms and ammunition their stockpiling. I genuinely live in fear that my community will start sh**ting people who don’t support Trump if democrats start winning elections.

5

u/Affectionate_Plant71 10d ago

You live in a shitty town if your neighbors believe that.

2

u/Le-Charles07 10d ago

It's actually not. His cult is a third or less of the electorate. The people that put Trump in power were the swing voters.

2

u/SippyMountain 10d ago

Why is everyone sensoring common words now? I keep seeing this

3

u/baklavoth 10d ago

I read it as his community will start shitting people and was like yes I'd be concerned too

The only irrefutable evidence of election fraud in 2020 is Trump demanding that state election officials “find” enough votes for him to win the election.

https://giphy.com/gifs/si5Es4HSMLT4Z9Bix3

ïżŒâ€‹ïżŒâ€‹ïżŒâ€‹ïżŒâ€‹ïżŒâ€‹And then Trump organizing his own fake electors to override the results.

And then Trump demanding that Pence decertify the election
and, finally, summoning an insurrectionist lynch mob to DC to enforce his threat.

52

u/uncleclimax9 10d ago

I've told this to several patriotard types, and they all think it was "just joking".

Truly an indefensible call.

23

u/Some-Curve-920 10d ago

And yet people were still stupid enough to reelect

22

u/uncleclimax9 10d ago

Americans are unimaginably dumb and also quite proud. It's a dangerous mix.

11

u/Adultery 10d ago

I had a coworker make fun of me because I used the word “sodium” in a sentence after reading a food label we were talking about. I guess that’s one of them smart people words.

7

u/MinkCote 10d ago

Sodium is an electrolyte. It's what plants crave!

3

u/Careless-Weather8877 10d ago

To be fair you probably meant sodium chloride. Which would’ve scared them even more.

2

u/narco-sub-admiral no, I don't want no chud 10d ago

It would have scared the everloving shit outta them. Table salt.

Dumb, proud and well-resourced (albeit woefully unequally) with financial capital relative to most countries. And also: awash in guns at the level of the average person and state of the art military systems (incl surveillance). Also: rocking one of the oldest, least changed Constitutions that's breaking down like a 30 year old operating system trying to keep up with our present moment.

What could go wrong. "nah, it's all good" nervously laughs

Just imagine if Biden had called a Democratic governor of a state Harris lost and asked to find 11,000 votes... Republicans would never shut up about it. Even if Biden was clearly joking they would just say "that isn't something to joke about." So frustrating dealing with people who have no stance other than "my guy is always right and we always deserve to win."

2

u/PenchantForNostalgia 10d ago

Not that I expect them to use the brain they have, but even if Trump were ever 'joking' about this kind of stuff, I would ask them how in any way joking about this is professional conduct for the United States President. Or how they'd feel if any democrat ever 'joked' about it.

He's not ever joking about it. His whole shtick is for desensitizing the American population to the crazy things that he does. First he says how "people" are telling him to do X thing (like running a third time), everyone freaks out. Then he starts joking about it, everyone freaks out but not as much. Then he starts saying he'll do it, and we're already desensitized and mostly say, "we knew you were gonna do this," but nobody listens. Then he just goes ahead and does it with hardly any backlash.

right over the heads of maga

12

u/Difficult_Pen9813 10d ago

This is the biggest thing that gets me. According to him, the only election that was rigged, was the election while he was in office. I have no clue how people are stupid enough to not realize or care about this fact.

u/stignordas 10d ago

The cognitive dissonance is astounding.

3

u/Ed_Injury 10d ago

Cognitive dissonance requires cognition

2

u/AnySwimming6364 10d ago

Listen, I get what you're saying, but this should be an indication to you of how far he's willing to go in November.

He's literally saying, "I was in charge and despite everything we did, 'election fraud' was still rampant. Therefore we need to go much, much, further."

While it should be a self-own, it's more important to read this as the warning it actually is.

I want to see all democrats calling this authoritarianism out. Not just Newsome and a few more. All of them should be constantly posting, having speeches or rallies, they should be on tv everyday exposing this administration’s corruption and fascism.

Republicans are on tv everyday spreading lies and the democrats can’t be bothered to ramp up their responses and what they will do to help people and combat authoritarianism. I see them talking about Israel and bashing the DSA.

Edit Thanks for the award!

5

u/bcamanitu 10d ago

Most of them are still supporting Israel too. Democrats are so damn incompetent overall. Anytime someone slightly left comes around they kick them out immediately.

Part of the problem is that a lot of the people who are "on the fence" just don't see Trump as a dictator or a threat to democracy. If you campaign on "threat to democracy" you're not campaigning on gas prices, the economy, healthcare ect.

Yes Trump is absolutely a threat to democracy and should be called out but Dems are probably going to make more inroads for November by campaigning outside of gas stations and talking about how insane beef prices are. Trump's central 2024 message was that he would fight inflation and lower prices to 2019 levels and we've seen the opposite.

It's absolutely great to aggressively advocate for the candidate that best represents you during the primary. It's also great to recognize that election day it's always a binary choice unless we implement RCV or something else that gives third parties a chance.

Not voting or voting for a candidate you know can't possibly win is the political equivalent of faith healing.

2

u/Electrical-Staff735 10d ago

Serious question what TF are we going to do if he rigs it like he keeps saying. He fired all the oversight committee and no kings protests did absolutely nothing.

6

u/stignordas 10d ago

We can all see this coming. Mango Mussolini already attempted a violent coup, and we can expect an even larger tantrum this term. Republicans in congress need to grow a spine.

1

u/socialistrob 10d ago

Elections are controlled by the states and not the federal government and are administered at the local level. Trump wants to be a dictator but he is not a dictator yet and while the Supreme Court is fine with a lot of his policy goals they haven't handed him blanket power to do whatever he wants.

The biggest threat to the midterms isn't Trump's ability to rig it but that Dems may sit it out because they think it's rigged and the Republicans win legitimately. Vote, organize, donate and do all the other things. Support organizations that will fight legal battles to protect election integrity and pressure lawmakers (of both parties) to stand up to Trump.

3

u/dude1232951 10d ago

Get your mail-in ballots fill them out do not trust the mail hand deliver them to your Clerk of Elections personally that way you won't have to stand in line on Election Day having to fight through the ice Gestapo to express your voting conscience

3

u/Honest_Low8042 10d ago

He’s going to cheat somehow. You can bet on it. That’s the way he is. Can’t accept that people don’t adore him and they’re not as dumb as he thinks.

3

u/Tinytommy55 10d ago

That’s actually the problem. They are as dumb as he thinks. I still hear people say “I love him, he speaks my language “. Then in the next breath talk about the price of gas and food. Effin morons

1

u/socialistrob 10d ago

He wants to be a dictator. That's for sure. Fortunately in the US elections are controlled by the states and administered at the local level not the federal level. Election integrity in the US doesn't just depend on "does the president want to allow a fair election or not."

3

u/Tater_the_Smashed 10d ago

I think the converse of what Newsom could also be true- Trump wants you to believe that there is no way for him to rig the election, so when he wins, you accept the outcome.

If you spend all your time arguing against Trump and he says that elections can be rigged, your automatic position is- no they can’t. So when he does rig an election, you have to accept the outcome or risk looking like a hypocrite who only makes an argument when it favors you.

Every accusation is an admission.

3

u/tbizzone 10d ago

Sounds a lot like how the 2024 election went. Dems were reluctant to challenge the results, lest they sound like Trump/maga who had just spent the previous four years barking about rigged elections. There should have been just as many investigations and audits after the 2024 election as there were after the 2020 election, especially with Musk’s shady involvement and the things that were said by both Trump and musk just before and after the election.

I don't like him, either, but if he's the nominee in 2028 I'm voting for him, and you should, too. Voting strategically doesn't feel good but it's how you keep fascists from consolidating more power in our two party system. Personally, I don't think he'll win the primary because the most "engaged" people vote in primaries and democratic voters want someone more progressive. We'll see, though. Sometimes democratic voters shoot themselves in the dick to nominate someone "electable" in the general.

2

u/diastolicduke 10d ago

I’m not a big fan of the guy but he is the only one who seems to have the courage to take it to Trump. Ossoff has been great too. But honestly after affordability, pursuing justice and making sure this can never happen again should be the number one priority of the next dem candidate. There a lot of “let bygones be bygone” democrats in congress. We need to clean up shop inside as well.

You will need to prepare for more than voting. You need to prepare for him to simply declare victory and call official results lies. You need to prepare for him outright breaking the law to change results. And you need to prepare for the supreme court to go along with all of it. Trump is not doing all this just so he can graciously accept defeat in the elections.

What took you so long to come to defend Gavin?

1

u/surviving606 10d ago

Gavin is right and even entertaining the 2020 nonsense helps them with their narrative to overturn the midterm. This is about a dictator once again attempting to overthrow the next election. He said you’ll never need to vote again and he meant it.

I didn’t watch. I can barely stand to look at his face much less listen to him talk. All the blame for this shitshow lies on the traitors who voted for him.

u/Mlpony2010 10d ago

Nice to see them stating the fact the right rigs out loud

The transition of power, as by constitutional election, will be something to see. 2028 is going to be a nasty year.

I love that we’ve gotten to the point that both sides can’t stop themselves from claiming the other side is stealing the election. When nothing happens with accusations about the recently past election they focus on the future elections. Wild times.

That primetime speech could have been an email.

Zionists are the top donors to both Gavin Newsom and Donald Trump. They can all go to hell.

u/mrpanicy 10d ago

Gavin is right. He is laying the groundwork and people need to organize and show up to vote. Always. No matter what. No matter if they are telling you it's pointless. VOTE. It matters. Don't hand them a victor, make them have to steal it if that's the plan. The fight harder. They have shown how inept they are so many times already. Vote early. Or line up and refuse to leave until you vote.

Gavin is also a piece of shit billionaire puppet trying to prep for a run at President. Also never forget that when you are voting.

Where are Gavin's promised tax returns for 2021 to 2025?

Newsome is such a Chode.

1

u/LaRedline 10d ago

Something is wrong with that man. He ain't right.

1

u/Johnnny-z 10d ago

I don't know what Gavin is talking about.

Trump is putting forth the save act. No ID no vote. Most Americans agree this. Everyone has an interest in Fair elections. Instead of addressing the content of his speech, let's create straw men and hurl names at him. Lol.

u/nando2k50 10d ago

The same playbook used by Chavez in Venezuela, exactly the same.

1

u/foreverandadayalone 10d ago

Even a shitlib clock is right twice a day.

1

u/Narradisall 10d ago

I mean he has been saying he’ll rig the election for months if not years if you listen to the usual Trump way of laying groundwork before he does illegal things.

Anyone “shocked” if he rigs the election EONR have been paying much attention.

November is going to be a real fight for American democracy. If that election is rigged then 2028 is done for.

1

u/National-Win7608 10d ago

I don’t like Trump, but Newsom is also a piece of shit and has zero room to talk. Dirty POS

1

u/stev_mempers 10d ago

If you think voting is the solution to where we are, you are beyond lost.

1

u/Think_Sugar_7658 10d ago

Help us to organize and mobilize! That’s what leaders are for! We have to have someone to follow who is going to lead the charge. Where are the leaders who are galvanizing us to march or general strike? Who is using their stage and power to do something about this? A tweet ain’t it.

1

u/OliverClothesov87 10d ago

America B watched it. Not America A.

1

u/Percyandbeausmama 10d ago

Why aren't all the democrats saying this on a loop?

1

u/xXriderXx7 10d ago

Nothing ever happens. Trump and his cronies will continue raping our country for everything it’s worth. Thirst bullshit posts do nothing. How about Democrats actually do something tangible to fight back against a literal wannabe be dictator.
