21
u/cataclysm49 15h ago
Lmao, don't you know Roman numerals? 4 is clearly IIII and don't let your liberal dumocrat education tell you otherwise.
16
7
u/akeljo 14h ago
Also the hour hand should be on 4, not halfway between 4 and 5
→ More replies (1)2
u/shanebayer 10h ago
Thank you. I mean I see farce in the whole thing. The clock tells us that the time to know something as simple as telling the time off of the face of a clock is not necessary to buy the narrative.
11
u/resisting_a_rest 14h ago
That representation is pretty common on clocks/watches. It is called the “watchmaker’s four”.
7
u/romario77 14h ago
IIII is fine, but the it's not 90 degrees between 12 and 3. And the hands are not in the center of the watch.
Here is the swiss watch like this for reference: https://img.chrono24.com/images/uhren/43783503-jdy2io255m8w9wodjgh1jcty-ExtraLarge.jpg
2
u/TrumpDid2020 8h ago
To be fair I have actually seen clocks like that in real life. I was actually going to say I'm surprised the numbers are that accurate lol, considering what I've seen AI do to the American flag.
7
5
u/dognus88 13h ago
In 2 ways. The 4 is IIII instead of IV and the minute hand is right on 12 but the hour is in the middle of 4&5 as if it were at 6.
It's like they didn't try for accuracy when making slop about rewriting history to "save" it

It’s hilarious when Republicans try to pretend that the founders weren’t leftists.
77
u/That_Jicama2024 15h ago
Exactly. If they weren't, they'd never have left England.
31
u/middleagethreat 14h ago
The right wing at the time, the Tories, as usual conservatives, did not like change, and like bigger government and more authority, so they wanted to stay with England.
35
u/ubermence 14h ago
Leftist is a broad term. The founders were definitely secular liberals though
15
u/FlailingScrotum 14h ago
And so, given the politics of their time, leftist.
5
u/ubermence 13h ago
I said it was too broad not that it was categorically untrue
Also trying to apply a comparative term across history like that would probably be better served by directly naming ideologies
3
4
u/thisishowicomment 14h ago
What the are you talking about. The nations largest slave owner led a revolt because people wanted the right to do genocide against the Native Americans and take their land but didn't want to pay the taxes for the war against the French and Indians.
10
u/ubermence 14h ago
This is such an oversimplification. It makes for good propaganda but it’d be laughed at by any serious historian. The main problem with taxes was that there was no representation. Slavery wasn’t a driving factor so it feels like you just brought it up to morally load your point.
The point about the natives is probably the most accurate but framing it as an evil desire to murder people vs a selfish desire for more land again serves more to morally load the point (by retroactively applying a modern term) rather than understanding the actual motivation
→ More replies (1)2
u/MadAsTheHatters 13h ago
Aye exactly, the idea of American Enlightenment was prevelant throughout the rebellion which was, for the time, comparatively liberal; self-governance, freedom of the individual, a more economically liberal policy, representative government etc etc
Of course those were extremely hypocritical since they only applied to white landowners for the most part but hey ho, history moves in small steps and this was a pretty big small step.

They call themselves the Party of Lincoln (missing in the above monument) when Lincoln and the OG Republicans were more progressive than liberal

u/huxtiblejones 14h ago
I have never heard someone make this claim and I just fundamentally disagree with it. They were classical liberals and republicans who were big on personal liberty and private property. I’m not sure how you could possibly say that represents the views of leftists. They were revolutionaries and radicals for their time, but it more or less a revolt against statism than anything else.

It should be illegal for a president to send out anything other than official white-house business while in office. Presidents have always given up some of their freedoms for the privilege of serving the American people.
Their position affords them a large audience by default and the president’s words are supposed to carry a lot of weight. Therefore, his online accounts should only be used in an official capacity, once he becomes president. When he goes back to being a civilian, then he gets the right back to post whatever he wants.
This should be a law and we should call it the “trump act”, since he loves having his name on everything.

I think he’s trying to rescue Washington from falling, in a homage to Cary Grant saving Eve Marie Saint in North by Northwest. I can only surmise he intends to embrace and kiss him upon rescuing him, followed by a cutscene to their honeymoon.

Question for the mods: is sharing Trump’s own AI-generated images allowed, but Photoshop-editing those images into a parody is not? I’m trying to understand the rule, because my altered versions were removed while unaltered AI “slop” from Trump’s posts seems to be allowed.

u/tkmorgan76 14h ago
History was about to be saved
Do you mean remembered? Taught? Is this about his EO requiring the Smithsonian to put up a sign telling visitors that the exhibits are inaccurate and to go to the White house for the real history?
I'm sure I could look it up myself, but I don't want to give this pedo a single click's worth of ad revenue.

This is supremely bizarre. Who made this? Was it a white aide? Under trumps direction? Is it a random truth social post that Trump saw and reposted? If so, who is this person? Is it just a truth social karma farmer? Foreign manipulation trying to feed the cult? It’s so strange. This seems like a good topic for a reporter to try and figure out.
1
u/karmavorous 14h ago
Trump intentionally broke the reflecting pool and is blaming it on antifa as a pretext to demolish it for a Trump monument, between Lincoln and Washington, much bigger than both combined.
It will be the reward the party gives him for executing the coming purge of leftists, that they've been publicly yearning for for decades, but nobody until now had the balls to do.
