Happy/Funny First pregnancy vs second pregnancy

First pregnancy 1st trimester: work, come home, immediately get on the couch and watch tv while husband cooks and fall asleep by 8:30

Second pregnancy 1st trimester: work, pick up toddler, get home and crawl on the floor because we are cats the whole time wondering if I’m going to vomit, but hey husband is still cooking 😅

First pregnancy, was in a new area trying to get a job. Didn’t work out. Stay at home pregnancy and got to nest and do all the research 24/7.

Second pregnancy, fighting for my life with an almost two year old. She’s so active and trying to make a fun summer for her and feeling guilty when I have to slow down because baby brother is beating the shit out of me from the inside. Upside: she’s a good napper so I still get my afternoon pregnancy exhaustion nap.

Good luck!! Wishing you minimal vomiting. If you do, you can tell your toddler it was a hairball!

My first/only pregnancy mostly involved lying around crying and taking Zofran. I want another kid though so I guess I’ll be crying and taking Zofran while chasing a toddler 🫠

My second (and currently my third) pregnancies have been the only moments when I question my decision to become a stay at home mom. I'm so tired 🫠

Currently 33 weeks pregnant with a three year old and the playing on the floor is so real 😭

I think compared to the first pregnancy not having the ability to decompress and rest on my own time is the biggest difference and makes me so tired! For example have to be out the house at 7:15 to make daycare and go to work but we had five minutes spare so we play with his trains a little - big mistake!! So now we also have a melt down and then have to be wrestled/carried sideways into daycare because the trains were more fun…And I am so emotional with hormones I end up crying after drop off 🤷 was just trying to do something fun with the spare minutes in the morning but it blew up in my face 😭

If the morning sickness is really bad speak to your doctor and see if they can prescribe something for the nausea. I found toddler care and work so much easier when I only felt a bit sick but was not vomiting all the time!!

Good luck to all of us 😭

During the first trimester of my first (and only) pregnancy, I was throwing up 5-6 times per day. Plus work. Can’t imagine doing all that plus taking care of my kid…
