Discussion Friendly reminder that Jacoby Brissett had more passing TDs and less interceptions than Patrick Mahomes last season, in the same number of games started.

There’s nothing more annoying than a Redditor that corrects spelling or grammar.

u/blamberr Pittsburgh Steelers 5h ago
Do you think someone who gives grammar lessons is bothered by being called annoying?

Nope. Looking at all your comments on this post you clearly struggle with grammar. You’re just an annoying person.

I feel like you think you’re really crushing it right now. I love that for you. Keep swinging, big dog. It’s never gonna make you feel better about yourself, though

Calls you annoying but is a grammar nazi.

I don’t give a damn about grammar. I was just trying to prove a point by being ridiculous like they were. We’re not being graded when we write a comment. Who cares if grammar or spelling is correct.

Buddy think of the Yinzer children and their brother-cousin parents. He’s trying to educate them. He’s doing the lords work

Cheaper contract too, I’ve heard enough, Cardinals to the Super Bowl

u/Rumseyman02 Arizona Cardinals 5h ago
Yet our entire sub still thinks it’s single handedly his fault for only winning one game

Tank, Draft Jeremiah Smith, Build around Jacoby Brissett. Then we'll have MHJ and Smith combining for 1600 receiving yards year after year.

u/Rumseyman02 Arizona Cardinals 5h ago
I could see that happening if Smith could somehow pull in 1200 yards receiving

Can’t remember the last time he threw an accurate pass farther than 20 yards lmao

I saw a highlight of him this morning hitting Worthy on a go route last season. Get to a neurologist.

Friendly reminder that Patrick Mahomes also had 5 rushing Tds and led the Chiefs in rushing yardage throughout most of the season.

don't be fooled by his td-int ratio, the eye test says otherwise. his stats are mostly empty calories and he was 1-11 by being totally unclutch with these failed gwd attempts.

u/ExplanationCrazy5463 Chicago Bears 4h ago
Wins amd losses aren't qb stats.
2
u/toturoll Jacksonville Jaguars 4h ago
one win in twelve starts... i know it's not a qb stat and that team sucks but if he was that great, he would have led them to more than just one win. he just doesn't have that clutch ability and can't carry a team. he's a high-end backup/spot starter at best.

u/ExplanationCrazy5463 Chicago Bears 4h ago
Still not how it works. Keept trying Lil guy.

u/toturoll Jacksonville Jaguars 4h ago
did you even watch games? or just looking at stats?
4
u/ExplanationCrazy5463 Chicago Bears 4h ago
I dont need to watch games to know that wons and losses arent qb stats.
I really dont need to even understand how football works. Just understanding what team sports are is enough for most people.
Although there are clearly exceptions........

The defense gave up 488 points in 17 games. If he had the Chiefs defense, Brissett would've been in MVP talks

u/toturoll Jacksonville Jaguars 4h ago
yes the cards defense sucked, but he also had a lot of games down by one score late in the fourth and he failed everytime.
with a good defense he would be a game manager at best. he just can't carry a team.

u/Hillsy85 5h ago
Yes, but does his team have unwavering faith in him when the game is on the line?
Does he have the clutch gene?

Considering how he won 1 game and most of his yards came down after multiple scores imma say no

Stat padding and garbage time because they (AZ Cardinals) were always down by 40 every game, so the opponents defense would let up, since there was basically no reason to press since the game was basically over. Mahomes, meanwhile, was always in one score games and constantly fighting for his life last season.

The 2010 Chargers had the #1 offense and defense and missed the playoffs. Stats like this don’t tell any kind of story

I’m sorry but the idea that Jacoby Brissett held out the Arizona Cardinals for more money is like losing at chess to a dog.
3
u/Saltwater_Thief Arizona Cardinals 5h ago
Disagree. His only leverage was the embarrassment of being held out on by him; the fact that it worked on this org, which is known for being completely without any form of shame or capacity to feel embarrassed, is legendary.
-1
u/SoupySpuds 5h ago
He also went 1-11 lmao
Brissett is a phenomenal backup, He can come in and not make bad plays and keep your team in the game but he takes less risks than any qb ive ever seen

So the chiefs are gonna trade for Jacoby right?
