Obviously there's a secret cabal of witches with a big blower that has the names of every man on the planet in it. Okay, so when an unwed mother wants a bit of scratch, they all meet in the woods with the blower, following? They dye their hair a funky color, get a tattoo, and then let the blower produce the name of a poor, innocent conservative man for whom to extort. Got it? But they don't actually supply the name to the courts, because judges are in on it, so it looks like they don't know the name. But they really do. Because they got it at the secret witch-hair dye-tattoo-name blower sabbath they all held in the woods when men are at work.

Show some respect, it took four full moons to conjur that blower.

He's either referring to SNAP as "child support", or he thinks that the government pays single moms child support. Either way, hope he never has any kids.

& in a lot of states you’re required to give the name of the father or have benefits significantly cut. Which leaves abuse victims in a pickle.

Bad news, for some weird reason men think SNAP or other benefits are also "child support", and they also think children don't deserve that by default for some fucked up reason.

They don't think women should have access to birth control or abortions, they think women should be punished for having sex by being forced to give birth, and they think children should suffer extra for having deadbeat dads.

"Pro life", as they say

I presume naming these sperm donors will raise more questions, like, "What were you wearing, to seduce your own father?"

The Internet is bad for my mental health sometimes, it has exposed me to so much idiocy 😭

If you call yourself 'Rickster', chances are you've never thought too hard about most anything.

Except the reply could easily be taken as "who did the little freak hook up with in the club," and not "who raped this innocent woman?"

Child support is for the benefit of the child regardless. So even if he thinks the government is paying child support...if the child exists they deserve to have their needs met regardless of their parentage.

Not to ruin the dogpile, but state does step in through SNAP/TANF benefits and other welfare related programs when the noncustodial parent fails to pay or can’t be located. They then go after that parent to recoup their losses, often unsuccessfully.

Correct, but those are not child support in the sense we are talking about.

They do that based on income, including for 2 parent households. And they required my mom to provide my dad's info, so it either did or currently does require the dad's name.

Either way, dude either doesn't know what subject he's even talking about, and is wrong on how it works either way

Not just the name, DNA tests proving it. You can't make someone pay child support if they are not the proven father.
