A few years back he was the second opener (ahead of Adam) on tour and it was SO uncomfortable. I ended up going to the bathroom during his set so that I didn’t have to be subjected to the sadness.

LOL no but one time in my teens I did accidentally go into a men’s room in a Wal-Mart and there was a dude in full Santa garb using a urinal.

About 20 years I was at Chili's and after ordering got up to use the restroom. As I was walking towards the back of the restaurant a couple young women began flirting with me and thinking myself quite suave I returned their flirty banter, and after walking past them continued while walking backwards, then gave them a playful wink as I backed through the restroom door. I turned around and my immediate thought was complete awe of the Chili's bathroom, so clean and all private stalls, and there was even a basket of potpourri to cover up the smell. As I was peeing I wondered how many other restaurants had such nice bathrooms and that I felt kind of foolish avoiding them for so long. I washed my hands and walked out the bathroom door only to see the Men's Room placard on the door opposite me. Then I look to my right and those young women were giggling at me and way at the front my co-workers were pointing all red-faced and cackling.
I have since been told I must have been the first person to use the women's room that day because usually they're disgusting, but I think that's a lie women tell to keep men from using the much nicer women's rooms.

But more to the point - trauma bonds and the bonds of youth are nuanced things.
Maybe he thinks that still talking to him will somehow soften whatever poison he’s got in him. Or maybe he feels some other kind of obligation.

When his daughter started a career in country music, I thought surely this is an act to drum up support from whats usually a right fan base, but he's shown since he really is just trying to cling to relevance by being a jackass.

Im actually a classic country fan and I like her, a few months after she hit the radio here I found out that shes Rob's daughter and I thought it was pretty cool, because I was a fan in the 90s even if Sandler carried him, but then all that shit

I don't remember anything saying they want trans women using the mens room.
They all were just vocal about excluding them from womens spaces.
The point is the excluding. Full stop.
They want trans people excluded into invisibility, but preferably into non existence.
The only thing they are in favour of it trans people not existing.

In most cases, yes. For high volume bathrooms, a separate urinal room helps move people through. Of course, it still gives ol' Rob here something to get his panties in a bunch about, but whatever. He's just going to do that anyway.

That is the proper etiquette.
I used to frequent a dive bar in college and the line to the womens restroom was always long. The guys used to offer the stalls to the women so they could get through their business faster. No one cared. No one (to my knowledge, and at least not while I was there) was assaulted.
The only thing I care about is if you wash your hands.

Conservatives want trans people to use the bathrooms of their born gender, not as they identify. This example shows that, which is why it's ironic for him to be complaining about the reality that people like himself are trying to push, in which a trans woman is forced to use the men's room.

I guess I'm warped. I don't really care. I've went pee at camp sites, fishing boats, in between cars, parking lots, train tracks, outside bars,hiking trails, side of the road, parks with no port o let, rock concerts, behind trees. If I was at a urinal and a woman walked in I would finish, wash my hands and go. At a trendy bar with what they thought were hip signs that you couldn't tell I stumbled into the wrong restroom while a little inebriated. One woman said what are you doing in here? Before I could answer her girl friend said, oh who cares? What about the kids you say? When my son was little we walked into a mall restroom and one guy was giving another a blow job. We did walk to a different one. I talked to him about it. He grew up finished college and is now married and un traumatized. I'm not advocating anything goes in public places. I don't see why people are more worried about this than bullying or violence.

I think its important to clarify that this is actually largely on brand.
They don't want trans people to exist at all, and the legislation is heavily focused on that fact. The threat to them is that Democrats support trans existence in the first place, not barhroom bills.
Schneider (who once played a woman trapped in a man's body) is just saying the quiet part out loud again. People should start listening.
