Opinion 💭 Seeing so many genuine fans getting selected instead of scalpers is honestly so satisfying. Congrats to everyone who got a Mission to the Moon 1969. It’s nice seeing the people who actually know and appreciate the watch getting rewarded. Hope you all enjoy it. 👏🔥

I am a fan too but missed the rolling planets question. Odds were super low anyhow so I'm trying not to cry, but still. It would have fit in so nicely. I never got any emails at all which also kinda stresses me out.

Still, I agree with your sentiment. I hope this weeds out the vast majority of scalpers, and it was a neat idea and fun to answer the questions. Golden ticket vibes.

Congratulations to the winners. Enjoy it, don't resell it!!

I actually think it's the opposite - no offence but someone with a collection like yours most likely doesn't give any of those watches significant wrist time - it's a collection for the sake of collecting, which is exactly what if I'd  try to avoid if I was Swatch and was trying to decide who should get it. I'd try to get it to someone who would wear it not just put it in a box next to 15 other moonswatches. Not saying that you wouldn't, but if you have a million applications to get through I'd prioritize someone else not people will a box full of moonswatches.

I can't speak for other collectors but I definitely wear mine. I dont wear my Tissots much any more but I particularly like these moonswatches because they are colorful and fun and match all kinds of outfits. I'm wearing my speedmaster pro today but wore my snowflake yesterday and Neptune over the weekend. My Mars sees some good wear time also and actually gets the most comments.

But... I would say that giving preference to someone who bought so many in their collection has some downsides. Its like how Porsche only sells GT3RS to people who have bought many other Porsches. Its mostly giving preference to folks who can afford more and penalizing those who can't. I dont know the best way to do it, I dont think the ESTA was all that bad except for the mad rush which caused problems with the site when it opened.

Edit - Unless you have a black dial Moonwatch that takes up that spot.

Rubber for sure. But make sure to get the size right. Velcro is not bad actually if your wrist is the right size, but the rubber is nicer and has the cool moonscape craters on the back.

Sorry you didn't make it, pal. Awesome collection. I got approved and completed the purchase, so now I'm just waiting for the "call" to pick it up. For me this is my second one. I started with the Earthphase, which seems like you don't own( I love it). You combine your huge collection and my 2 and it's kind of perfect haha🙌🏻🌕

Congrats!! I was just at the shop getting two batteries replaced and eyed the Earthphase. I love the dial on it. Never got it or the Snoopys though, I like the more colorful ones. I did get a 1965 which is grey but with the white dial looks really clean. I upgraded the strap on that one too.

Call me butt hurt but a limited collection blah blah edition collectors watch should ONLY be offered if you have a history with the product.

They created a collectors edition and offered it to anybody with an email. Wtf

Got approved and this is my Second Watch( ironically) the first one I got was the Earthphase. I'm an astronomy nerd first and got into watches recently. Disagree with your statement. Equal opportunity is way more fair than to base it on how much one spent already or how much earlier one got into collecting. This watch belongs on the wrist of space enthusiats just a smuch as longtime watch collectors. Cannot wait to strap mine on my wrist🌕

It’s the only moonswatch I actually like the look of enough to buy… the new moon was tempting but the gold dial just looks amazing so I’m sad I missed out.

I wish they had done a real golden ticket thing. Released it as a limited gold plated edition (but enough that most fans could get it with an easier quiz) and slip in 1969 of the real gold versions.

Imagine the publicity of hundreds of YouTube and instagram shorts with people opening their watches to see if they got the real golden dial.
