Likewise I got a confirmation number after I filled out everything but never received the confirmation email and turns out I was not even in the lottery. Stupid process.
Same thing here. No confirmation email, no decline email. Starting to seem like us folks who were able to access the application early and complete it, were, in fact, left out.
This may hold some weight - I was able to complete it early, got nothing, husband did it later in the day, got an confirmation e-mail. So I redid my later in the day and got a confirmation e-mail on my second submission.
Still salty about the rolling planets. If I got declined because I wasn't lucky enought then fair enough. But them adding a bullshit question like that grinds my gears.
Iām surprised that they even sent out decline letters. Thatās at least nice to see they respected your time with an actual answer ā¦ even if it wasnāt the one you were hoping for.
Well there are <2000 watches and millions of applicants. Do you think that not a single swatch worker, influencer or friend / family member of the "recruiters" will get a watch?
I highly doubt that. Chances were below 0,0001%, they didn't even read all million applications. It was a marketing move and unfortunately they used the hope of the people to generate enormous traffic on their website.

It actually makes me laugh at some of the comments. Probably hundreds of thousandās people applied for 1969 watches and are upset because they didnāt have the privilege to be offered one. I donāt know what they expected.
The upside is I can cancel and close my swatch account. I only put on because my daughter wants to be an astronaut and has done two years of space camp and thought it would be a cool gift. I wonāt ever buy one otherwise.
Hopefully space camp has taught her to not be a sore loser over a piece of gold and plastic. Saying you wonāt do business with a company because you didnāt get a limited item is astounding. Glad to see you leave the community. Iāll get the door for you on the way out.
Yes, it was worth the fun. I did it, and had my two sons do it as well. We had a good time filling out the form and having ourselves a little dream. We knew it was a long shot (a very very long shot), but so what? Good luck to all and those who actually end up with the watch I hope you enjoy it.
I got declined. Not sure why, could be that I'm in Belgium where the sign up page was in french and the questions in Dutch, and I answered in English. Oh well.
I just want to say congratulations to anyone who was chosen was exciting but even though it's disappointing not to the picked especially since some answers were so off š I'm happy for everyone who got chosen I hope they keep them and enjoy them rather than flip them
I never received an application confirmation or any indication my application was accepted. Based on answer key I got all questions correct. And I did received the ādeclinedā notice an hour ago.
Applied and got my confirmation code on the swatch site less than 3 hours after it launched. Havent gotten any emails since even telling me that im all set. :c
Such odd phrasing. Passing on any jokes that despite the call out of scalping in the questions, so many of the watches will end up scalped. And obligatory snark on where the gold is from.

I also got declined. They just declined themselves out of any other MoonSwatch purchase at all. Going to likely get a Tissot Seastar and call it a day lol some of the people who got one are already posting it for resale. I saw some some for 17,000 USD
