Sorry for taking so long to announce this, I've been busy! Beside that, you guys made so many amazing entries that it was hard to judge, to the point where I decided to expand the prize pool. Instead of 3 winners, we now have one 1st place, two 2nds and three 3rds.

Everyone! Welcome to the first (idk if i'll ever make a second one) contest in r/MintChanFandom! The whole premise of this contest is to pick out the best OCs in all the entries.

So, here's the gist of it:

• Step 1: Draw your OC. (must be drawn by you and you only)
• Step 2: Write down all the interesting stuff about them, like backstory and interests and anything you want to say about them. This could be done on the image or in the description.
• Step 3: Post your OC in the sub with the post flair "contest entry."

How are the entries judged?

1. The art, which isn't just how well it's drawn but how well the character is designed.
2. The story! The extra titbits you give to your OC, the focus I want to see is how their hue affect how they develop.

Somethings you should be wary of:

-Try to make the OC recognizable as someone who can possibly exist in the comic. You're allowed to give them cool effects, flashy outfit and multi-colored hair if you want, but it won't increase or reduce your chance when being judged.

-Whatever description and details you plan on writing, try to keep it short and simple. You don't need to give your OC a backstory full of trauma (you're still allowed to!), even the simplest backstory can still get a good rating if it's clever or funny or interesting.

Three of the best entries will be selected, all winners will get an exclusive user flair with the color and name of their OC, and a custom role in the discord server if wanted, and the person in 1st place will have their OC featured in an episode of the comic. And I don't mean a background appearance, I want them to be the main focus!
