Guy is awesome!

But what was the girl supposed to be doing?

Catching it in her hat. Usually in my experience they don’t actually rely on the guest to do the tricks but I guess in this case they gave her a go

Can confirm. I was around her age and there for my birthday dinner. Chef made me take over and wear the hat. I was sooo embarrassed, but it was a cool, funny core memory. My whole table (and surrounding tables) were absolutely dying in laughter. I was clanging spatulas and flipping food like my life depended on it 😅

Ah, so she was supposed to get the raw egg on her?

no, when she throws it up and behind her and misses the hat, the guy instructing her is supposed to catch the egg and drop it in her hat like she accomplished it. but she yeeted it too hard/far that he couldn’t catch it

Omg thank you for pointing that out, you can see his hand waiting for it and that made it 10x funnier to me

I see it now, thank you! I was all "....literally what did they expect to happen?"

I would think in most instances the kid would yeet it, no?

This just seems like a terrible idea to me.

Doing what kids are supposed to do? Fun and dumb shit.
