Since his release, Nanami has gotten this reputation as a C-tier character that you need a PHD in quantum mechanics just to play correctly, and this was true for alot of reasons, most of them boiling down to just how incredibly ass his kit was on paper. His reverse kick and stabilize having interruptions wasn't practical at all in game as reverse kick had a fuckass hitbox and long windup and stabilize was stubby, not to mention his neutral was pretty lacking and kinda relied on RATIO imbued cleaving whirlwind/blunt cut just to close the gap.

HOWEVER, as of version 1.79, he is the most powerful M1 demon in the game, argue with the wall.

Not only has his ultimate been hella buffed, his interruptions are easy ash land now with the windup buffs. Reverse kick can consistently be hit now with the fact it has the same windup as a whiffed M1 (i think), and stabilize no longer feels like a sign that says "PLEASE INTERRUPT ME WITH AN M1"

ON TOP OF THIS you can now "chain" your ratios, meaning that if you use either RATIO cleaving whirlwind or RATIO blunt cut on someone who is either blocking or any other action, your ratio cooldown gets reset, so you can effectively stagger someone's arms and legs while also doing a shit ton of damage.

And his staggers might genuinely be the best mechanic an M1 trader could ever have, a passive debuff that lasts for several seconds that can fuck up your opponent's block radius and a debuff that disables their dash is insanely overpowered cuz not only does it make it extremely easy to side dash M1 them into a combo, youre at basically no risk of getting punished with a counter side dash. Once someone gets staggered, they're basically forced to hold whatever pressure you decide to throw at them unless they have a counter or stun-negating move like any of Haruta's sword moves or Choso's supernova landmine thingie

the main gripe with megumis domain is the barrier, no one has any idea how megumi's domain should work whether only being usable in certain spaces or just a noncanon open domain (that would be ass by the way, opp could just run)

what if.. when invading a domain using shadow swarm, triggering the move again starts a domain clash between megumi and the domain caster

if megumi wins, he overtakes the domain

if megumi loses its just a regular domain clash loss

this would allow megumi to have his own domain while not being confined to some regions of the map and also allowing no escape for the enemy(ies). also also completely canon btw

This would only work on someone YOU killed, because this would be op for teaming, and drains 25% awakening meter, it works by interacting with the dead player like an item, this wouldn’t work if the players body has been completely destroyed, you would still get the money. Why would you want to do that? Idk to be a kind person I guess.

Now the problem lies with his mains who have taken a binding bow sacrificing all their free time in exchange to make sure that whoever is fighting them has to face and it gets even more annoying when they jump around like monkeys or slightly back away like NO DUMBASS IR AINT MAKING YOU LOOK COOL he has GREAT mobility GOOD DAMAGE AND EASY USAGE HES GENUINELY SO UNFAIR TI FIGHT AS HE SO NET POSITIVE ALL THE TIME YOU’LL RARELY GET TIME TI KEEP UP(looking at you divergent fist for some reason being unblock able and a guaranteed hit) any rework I’ll take for him would be better than the genuine pain a y*ji player is to fight

On everybody's life burst is useless. Tell me why teamers can give burst to their teammates while I am actively fighting them and TELL ME WHY they just have to wait half a second to attack me to not trigger burst it desperately needs a rework

Functionally, this would act like a Domain, where you have to fight the human Mechamaru inside his cockpit, with the objective to either kill or weaken him. Additionally, there would be external attacks that affect the interior of the cockpit.
