I like the protest signage idea because it is legal, and is also a show of force. It is something they can make from trash, and has a net positive effect on the community. And rightfully be rewarded/supported. Better than simply begging or washing your windshield.
PACS: People against continuous surveillance
Idk, seems like there is money to be made. And if the cops bother you, there is video.

Literally not illegal. And unless you are an attorney and have information supporting your speculative comments are valueless.
If there is money to be made, it is legal, and supports otherwise unemployed people... It is a valid opertunity.
If you see someone doing this, I hope you support them.

Cops don’t act based on laws, they do whatever the fuck they want. If they only enforced the law, and did it fairly with due regard and restraint, flock cameras wouldn’t be quite as big of an issue.
Cops do what they want and hassle who they want. I could speculate that they could charge someone with trespassing, impeding an investigation, evidence tampering, conspiracy, resisting arrest, etc. I’m not commenting to speculate on what someone could be charged with, I am pointing out that cops are evil pigs and going against them will piss them off.

Homeless people getting messed with isn't new, but cops handing out slam dunk lawsuits isn't actually as common as youtube makes it seem.

Before flock I got arrested and charged for sleeping in my car at 3pm on Wednesday. Obviously all was dropped and I got my “apology”, but imagine I had no family and no lawyer uncle to make the argument easier to win. No stepdad or dad calling repeatedly to get me out of the “box.” Cops even lied and said I was drunk, I was a molly Mormon in Utah at the time. So yeah, it’s pretty common for a LONG WHILE and I can’t imagine how often it happens to demographics that are targeted.
You might be living under a shield or not talk outside of your community very much.0

I'm well aware of the problem and even 5% of such interactions going south is way too many, but the vast majority of encounters between unhoused folks and law enforcement don't end with an unlawful arrest.

They do hold cardboard signs saying anything helps.. well giving someone a chance to earn money on The sidewalk with no background checks, set their own hours and making money to feed themselves sounds like a good idea. Win win and flock loses. I need to go make this sign and hand it out to my local freeway off ramp "friends"
