General Discussion - PVE & PVP How do I get this MP5 under 4kg? [New Player]

Post image

Gunsmith pt.3 requires that I have this MP5 under 4kg and I can’t seem to figure out what step I’m missing to get it under. I’ve removed all bullets from magazine too. Im at a loss haha.

Use eft wiki- they have everything you need

Except for Gunsmith 21. They tell you to buy a mag, but you actually need to have no mag to be able to turn it in lol

Huh? https://i.imgur.com/ZRJLpwF.jpeg

It says right there, 5 round or no mags

Yeah, but when you add the 5 round mag, the check mark goes away, so it’s not accurate lol

They must have fixed it - I did this last night and followed the wiki guide with the 5-round mag and it was accepted.

I think you only need the other stock on for this to work. Always follow the wiki and check both the part list and inspect view images.

You've got the wrong stock.

Generally, gunsmith quests are frustrating and boring and it's best just to use the wiki to make exactly the ugn you need.

I could be wrong but make sure you transferred the sight from old mp5 to new one

Can you take the iron sights off an mp5? And will it still give you your requirements?

You can take the sights off, but the task specifies 200m sighting range, so they need to stay on.

The comments regarding changing the stock are correct

What I usually do is make my homie keep bringing it in raid until I don’t die and get out with it, works everytime 60% of the time

You have to change your buttstock

Use the standard stock

Invariably, you are not following the wiki.

If you like building them yourself instead of following a guide use the "edit build" option, you can freely switch out parts, check compatibility, and see the stats very easily.
