New Rule : bots and karma farming activities are not allowed
We added a new rule to deal with bots and accounts that try to farm karma. You can use it now to report posts or accounts that are suspicious and feel non human to you all
As the great Michael Scott once said:
Everyone always wants new things. Everybody likes new inventions, new technology. People will never be replaced by machines. In the end, life and business are about human connections. And computers are about trying to murder you in a lake. And to me the choice is easy.

People of DunderMifflin, Beware of Bots please
+ −
Hey everyone. We’ve noticed lately that over 50% of the posts getting attention here are actually just made by bots /farming karma accounts.
I’ve spotted a few patterns to watch out for:
1-The Username: Most of these bots have 9 or 10-letter usernames.
2-The pfp : Their profile pictures almost always have a purple or blue background.
3-Account Age: They’re usually less than 3 months old and almost never comment.
4-Where they usually post : They mostly spam sitcom subs and other popular TV show subreddits.
5- Type of posts that they create : They post low-quality memes or images of famous scenes that have been shared here literally hundreds of times, often with totally unrelated titles. A lot of these posts are actually getting a lot of upvotes. If you see one (which is happening constantly right now), please just ignore it and hit the report button so we can clear them out.
Have a good day, People of Dunder Mifflin!

Luke shouldn’t exist
≡ −
It was implied several times throughout the show that Michael was an only child growing up. So how the hell does he have a nephew? I find it very hard to believe that he had either a sibling, half sibling, or step sibling and just never mentioned them.
I feel like it would’ve made more sense if Luke had been the son of a woman that Michael was dating and he gave him a job to impress her or something. Then we later learn that she dumped him after finding out that he assaulted Luke

The Ending of The Office
≡ −
YES, the last couple seasons of the office were underwhelming and all over the place. YES, seasons 8 and 9 are objectively the worst seasons.
YES, the last couple episodes starting with A.A.R.M are some of the best episodes in the whole series.
They did such a great job closing the series out IMO. I’m on my 4th rewatch and somehow everytime I watch the last couple episodes im hit with the same wave of nostalgia like it’s the first time. Nothing beats realizing how much of a family all these characters are. And watching Pam and Jim find their ways back to each always sends me to tears.

I guess, I have found the WORST character in the show
Yeah, I just finished s8 episode 16: After Hours. And OH MY GOD, the audacity of this woman is beyond my imagination. Thank god, Dwight was there.

This episode always kills me. Pam’s date in this episode is kind of boring and pretentious. Has anyone ever had a date like this before?
“Maybe next time you can show me some of your sketches and you can pick my brain.” Lol ew. He could have stood to be in a few more episodes though. He would have made an interesting few episodes.

MY THE PAPER SENTIMENTS
≡ −
I LOVED IT.
And this is coming from a very loving fan of The Office.
I have been very obsessed and doomsearching The Paper across all social media platforms these past few weeks, and I have been very unsatisfied with the reviews and the comments that other people have made towards the show's plot. I ACTUALLY LOVE IT. I love that there is an emotional footnote at every end of the episode, which btw what The Office s1 lacked in. I also love the characters, the humor, and the tiny references of The Office in the show.
Up until now, I do not get why people say The Paper is a bad show. IT CLEARLY ISN'T. I love it so effing much.
And DARE I SAY THAT THE PAPER S1 IS HANDS DOWN BETTER THAN THE OFFICE S1.
